Wow, I really like it!
I love experimenting with bold lip colors and I have had my fair share of makeup mishaps. I picked this little gem up after looking for a bluish-purple on the MAC site and was delighted with it.
The texture–I don’t know quite how to describe it–is amazing. It feels like a non-slick, non-greasy, light balm. It is not slippery and it stays put very well.
The color is to die for, in my opinion, although it takes a certain person to like it. It also takes a certain outfit and attitude to pull off. But I love it.

I didn’t even have to try it on to know that I would love it! It’s a very daring color but so beautiful , wore it with the Maybelline clear lip liner!

As soon as I saw the sneak peak, I knew I HAD to have this!! The furthest I’ve strayed from a non-traditional color is sparkly purple, so this is a stretch for me. I took a photo after I applied it straight from the tube. On me, it actually looks like a velvety blue-purple, but in the tube, it looks very blue. It’s not a Retro Matte, so it didn’t feel very drying, but it did tug slightly as I applied it. A royal blue or deep purple eyeliner would work to line this, if you wanted to. I took off a lippie because it was not as fully opaque as I expected it to be, but I think using a primer, maybe a liner, and lip brush will give it better coverage.
