I bought myself this lipstick as a little reward for finishing all my uni assignments this semester. I did a little research beforehand, and on all the models I saw, it looked like a really smart light, mauve-y nude, almost like the greige of pink lipsticks.
You know how some lipsticks can make you look really washed out, sort of dead? I don’t mind looking dead – I think a Wednesday Addams look is quite flattering on me – but this lipstick washes me out in a very ugly way.
It’s a GORGEOUS shade, don’t get me wrong. It’s just that, if your skin is mid-toned (especially if it’s olive), like mine, it will probably make you look…weirdly invisible. When I wear this lipstick I have to counteract it with strong brows and dark glasses (I don’t do eyeshadow, but I do own a million pairs of glasses). The formula is incredible, not at all drying, very creamy.
TL;DR this is a gorgeous shade, but wear with caution.
