I wear this mid-tone bright purplish fuchsia pink fairly often; I couldn’t find this particular color in any other line. The closest match I’ve come across is Stila’s Stay-All-Day in “Lume,” which is 10 times the price, and a liquid formula, which I dislike.
Plum Obsession is probably not everybody’s kind of color, since it’s something of a “statement” shade. It’s called “matte,” but to me, it looks, applies, and feels more like a satin. It goes on smoothly, providing creamy, opaque coverage that feels comfortable and wears admirably. Jordana Matte Lipsticks aren’t billed as long-wearing, but I find that Plum Obsession imparts color that will stay around for several hours, though it does transfer a little.
Plum Obsession has become a real favorite of mine, and I intend to keep buying it as long as possible, and I want to try more of the numerous (around 40) shades in this line.
Jordana is cruelty-free, and the Matte Lipsticks are a mere $1.99 each. The plastic packaging is on par with the price, but who cares?Jordana and Milani have replaced MAC as my favorite lipstick source, and products like Plum Obsession are the reasons why.

I get compliments on this lipstick! It does somewhat dry out your lips but that’s because it’s matte. It lasts for hours even when having drinks. Seriously love all of Jordana matte lipsticks.

It’s an exact dupe for flat out fabulous. If you want the sheen version get creamy berries. This looks great on WOC. The texture the smell and the color is AMAZING!!

Jordana Plum Obsession is a vibrant fuchsia-plum color that is universally flattering. The matte formula gives it longevity on the lips. This is one of the best colors in the Jordana matte line. Others I love and highly recommend are:

This line overall is great with many hidden gems (many are MAC dupes). The formula and pigmentation of these is very respectable though I’m not a fan of the frosted ones. With so many colors to choose from, there is something for everyone.

My obsession….a gorgeous grapey plum. It is perfect for cool toned girls. Kind of reminds me of Sugar Plum Fairy by Wet n Wild but is by no means a dupe just similar in tone. The price is right on these lovely lipsticks just 1.49 at Kmart or Jordana.com. The color swatch doesn’t do this lipstick quite the justice it deserves but I will try to do a hand swatch soon. These have amazing staying power…hours through drinking and eating. Awesome..these lipsticks are HG material and I don’t say that EVER!
