Wish this was easier to find, I saw how this was a dupe for MAC Taupe and was only able to find it on EBay. The texture of this is matte but applies very smoothly. The color doesn’t look appealing in the tube but swatches very natural on my nc42 skin tone. It is a little hard to describe but its basically a peachy nude color that leans a little orange. I find it to be a very sophisticated color that makes me look put together. I would definitely wear this for an interview.

My all time favourite. Feels like a smooth texture & creamy. I honestly love it. Its highly pigmented. I love the color its like a tan orange. As for lasting power haven’t tried it out on a full day yet but so far so good 🙂

Took me forever to buy this, I’ve already tried the rest of the mattes and liked them. It reminds me of 90s makeup, which happens to look good on me. This is an orangy brown on me.

Was looking for a dupe for Mac touch and decided to try this. The way it looks isn’t the way it goes on for me. With the orangish undertones it comes out as a copper. Not a fan but its actually not drying. I probably will wear this two more times before giving up.

perfect every day neutral work lip stick. Gives a polished yet appropriate look with out looking like you tried too hard.
Does not dry lips compared to NYX and other high end matte lip sticks. I put chap stick ten minutes before and then just apply it. Gives my a natural looking lip on my tan complexion

At last! I’ve found my colour! I’ve been looking for a browny orange forever, remembering an Mary Quant lippie my Mum had lying around when I was a teen in the 80s. It was called ‘terra firma’ and it really suited me, she wasn’t wearing it so I nicked it for myself.
If you apply cocoa craving really lightly, by patting it and cover with a bit of lip balm to moisturise, it’s sooo pretty! (Being ‘matte’, it’s quite dry just on it’s own).
Definitely a beautiful colour for paleskins/redheads/to bring out green eyes. Highly recommended!

Colour: medium dark bronwish nude w/orangey undertone

Stays on for a decent time And feels amazing when I’m putting it on. I know that matte l/s can be drying but this is not the case. It mmakes for a good nude colour for the darker skins 🙂

Everyday lippie! Fantastic for my NC35 – NC40 skin. Great for tanned or olive skin, I’m not sure how this would turn up on someone fairer though. It’s a deep brown with hints of orange. Love the finish! Creamy and pigmented, opaque and matte. Not the longest-lasting lippie (4 hours?) but I love reapplying it. Not as (obviously) drying as the its other counterparts in the same line (looking at you Fab Fig & Wine Not) so no need for too much balm beneath. Also, I got it at $13.90 at a sale in Singapore which means affordability gets brownie points too! EDIT: I recently just bought MAC’s Matte Taupe lipstick and Revlon’s Cocoa Craving is an EXACT dupe for it. Revlon also gets points for being creamier – albeit MAC get points for leaving a nice subtle stain even after it’s worn off. However at SG$28 a pop for the MAC lippie – Revlon wins hands down.

I recently bought this after careful consideration. I initially thought it might be too dark for my skin colour, but I took the jump and am glad I did.
It is a slightly darker nude for me, and could pass off as my natural lip colour (even though my natural lip colour is dark plum on top and medium berry pink below) because it goes well with my yellow undertoned NC44 skin. I find that it looks like a dark peach on me, and on lighter skin, it would be a red-tinged brown. The formula does not dry me out, but it does not moisturise either. The pigmentation is rich but I would still recommend ladies with pigmented lips to line their lips as well. This does not transfer to mugs as much due to the lack of oiliness in it.
I love the space matte lip colours give me because you have it as its base form. If you want to tweak it, you can always layer a shimmery lipstick or influence the colour with a gloss on top.

as with the rest of the matte lipstick colours, the texture of this is dry (but hey, it IS a matte lipstick afterall), but doesn’t exactly dry out your lips. The colour is gorgeous. I have heavily pigmented lips and this cancels out the redness of my natural lips to give a nice dark neutral brownish/nude colour. You don’t need a lip-liner with this.
