I have several of these lipsticks. My favorite and only one I have purchased twice is cherry blossom. I will probably wear it at my wedding. People stop and stare when I have this color on. I also have Red Sea, tootsie, bachelorette, Mars and a pink one I cannot remember the name of. They are more than decent in wearability but if I put 2 layers on it is crack city. 1 lippie off for that.
Great skin foundation for a period
Beauty wise I am 28 years old and would have purchased this for a sport coat like this. When I first moved to Dallas I did not have a foundation for a multitude of reasons. It was bad as it wouldn’t soften my skin and it would also require lots of effort to get it right. The older I get the less I notice it. So would buy again but for longer/mild stodgy months.
Really underrated lipsticks
Thanks for the WIP I find these really beautiful, good value, and are a must-have in every gorgeous pink eye primer from Beauty Beat. They are only available in products I adore. Yay! What a fabulous color collection!
Overall
I’m actually completely surprised how well this gel foundation works. It’s so soft and not too noticeable on my face.
The next best thing is the additional longevity that it adds and my eyes are red, so if I want to use these the multiples time they are great.
Pros
Regular application with a watchful eye
Brilliant finish with barely dry lips and nice blue band with a big dropper
Cons
Must have if you are looking for a good highlighter for your eyes or if you need moisturizer to do better creams or short lash SPF
Long lasting between application
Can do without moisturizer
Flavors are kind of dry
One of my favorites is COXY. I find it fairly friendly.
Elite liner for a sumptuous day use
Eye liner for overall gorgeous finish
Verdict
This is a fantastic liner for almost any skin condition and would not leave a mess on my face. It is the best lil that I have bought. The pigment color is medium blue with green band which goes on in the summer months or white at the end of the winter/spring season which is light. It is so soft with no pores and moisturizing almost no smudge residue which makes it easy to apply. Pros- Easy applicator with no tearing
Great primer for low shine concealer for the eyes and extended application gives your lips not an oily look
Pretty good a color in fact it can be a little disorganized at times but can not stand taking so much time out of your day to apply.

Sigh. I really wanted to love these but I just can’t. I have the shades Mars, Cherry Blossom, and 24Seven. The formula is very much like CP’s Ultra Matte, which I do not like at all. These perform just about the same. They are drying as all get out with Cherry Blossom being the absolute worst of the bunch in terms of performance. Not only is it drying, they crack, crumble, and don’t even think about touch ups. You’d have to completely remove the product before reapplying, otherwise it’s just a train wreck. I am so bummed because Cherry Blossom is the most beautiful cool red shade I’ve ever worn. The shade Mars is almost exactly like CP’s Stingraye. It dries down to a dark, brownish-grey shade, which just doesn’t look good on me at all. I was hoping it would dry down to the shade shown on their website. Negative. 24Seven and Cherry Blossom stayed true to the swatch but again, the performance of this liquid l/s sub-par at best and for $18, I expected much more. I will say I do like the applicator – it’s a bit on the flat side, like that of the NYX lip suede applicator – so application is easy. That said, it’s just not good at all and I will not repurchase nor do I recommend. There are far better options out there.

Sweet Dreams
As a woman of color I’ve been trying to find the perfect shade of orange lipstick that would be flattering on my brown complexion (Estee Lauder Bronze). I remember about 2 years ago orange lipstick was the rage, but often the orange lipsticks looked like I just finished eating an orange ice pop. I realized I needed a liquid matte lipstick to get the full opaque look. This color is a beautiful burnt orange rather than coral on my complexion. The texture of the lipstick is interesting, it’s not overly dry and doesn’t dry the same way that my Mars lipstick does; it’s more moist. I also don’t have to prime my lips beforehand when I wear this color compared to the Mars lipstick. I hope it’s never discontinued.
With that said, the staying power is that of an ordinary lipstick rather than a long lasting lipstick. It has a similar consistency to Victoria Secret’s or Revlon’s liquid lipstick, which is odd since my Mars lipstick dries down quickly. I’m not overly concerned about the staying power as I am about finding the right shade of orange for me. Also for a totally lipstick look this lipstick looks quite lovely with a dab of Marc Jacobs Call Me gloss and NYX orange lip liner.

**RED SEA- THIS FORMULA SUCKS! I HAD IT ON FOR 5 MINUTES AND IT STARTED PEELING OFF!! IF I PRESSED MY LIPS TOGETHER, CERTAIN AREAS WOULD START PEELING/CRUMBLING OFF. *WHEN YOU TRY TO SUBMIT A REVIEW ON THE WEBSITE, BE PREPARED TO NOT HAVE IT POST AUTOMATICALLY. CR REVIEWS THEIR REVIEWS BEFORE POSTING THEM WHICH I DO NOT AGREE WITH.*
I own cherry blossom and it is the total opposite of red sea. It is a very beautiful red lipstick and it is comfortable on the lips. Red sea is a beautiful deep red, but the formulation is just terrible.

I have Cherry Blossom, Truffle, 2AM and I metallic purple/blue whose name escapes me. These are all great colors, especially Cherry Blossom which I LOVE, but unfortunately, these lippies lack staying power, some way more than others. They DO dry very matte, don’t get me wrong, but if you eat or drink anything, these lippies will fade. Especially 2AM! I don’t think liquid lippies are supposed to fade after drinking water?? But that’s exactly what 2AM did. Flaked too. 🙁 The upside is that you can easily reapply without it getting all crackly and cakey on you. I may only repurchase Truffle and Cherry Blossom if they’re on sale since they were the prettiest colors.

I have these in 8 colors: Marshmallow, Soul, Rockstar, Heart of Stone, Classy, Fête, Suite Raine and Raine Fever
As far as performance goes, these are a little on the drier side, so I always swipe a little Burt’s Bees on my lips before applying to combat some of the dryness. All of these colors flaked off on me (especially since I have a tendency to rub my lips together), so minus one lippie for that. Stays put with LIGHT nibbling, but don’t expect this to perform like long wear lip color. They are a little bit of a pain to remove so always use MU remover.
On to the colors:
MARSHMALLOW is my hands down favorite of the bunch. The best description I can think of for the color is a couple shades lighter than creamy milk chocolate. This is a must have if you love earth tones, but it may be slightly on the darker side for some. Looks darker on the lips than in the tube and it looks the way I thought Soul would based on swatch photos. Can’t believe I almost passed this up.
SOUL is Marshmallow’s slightly darker, slightly redder toned cousin. Definitely not for those who aren’t a fan of dark lipstick.
HEART OF STONE is my second favorite – a gorgeous, warm-toned medium grey. This is definitely one of those fashion fad shades that will go out of style, but I love the way it looks with my NC40 skin. Definitely didn’t expect to love it as much as I did, which makes it that much more of a bummer that this shade is LE (I think….). I will look for alternatives once I run out.
ROCKSTAR is a gorgeous, over-the-top, deep, dark bluish blurple shade. Unlike the other colors I have, this one has some hints of glitter to it. On the wand the base looks like a dark purple, but on the lips it looks closer to blue. Darkest and streakiest of all the shades. Required a couple layers.
CLASSY would be a “my lips but better” shade for most. A dusty, rosy nude, it was a disappointment to me because it looks identical to my lip color. Looks like I have maybe a slightly tinted lip balm on. This is what I feared Marshmallow would look like on my lips based on all the swatch photos on the interwebs.
FÊTE is a rich, medium reddish lilac color. Looks a lot more dark and red-toned in real life than swatch photos show.
SUITE RAINE is Fête’s deep violet cousin. Much more cool toned, also much darker IRL than swatch photos show.
and finally….
RAINE FEVER is a deep, rich plum. Second darkest shade of the bunch.
Overall I am pretty pleased with these lip paints/liquid lipsticks. A little drier and flakier than I’d prefer, but gorgeous nonetheless. Will continue to purchase more colors when they come out with new ones.

Best liquid lipstick IMO and I have tried a lot. Formula is not too drying and they stay on for a long time. I wish I could purchase them in store. Great for more mature lips. This lipstick does not accentuate lines like the other liquid lipsticks.

I’d heard about these lipsticks being really good and wanted to try them for ages but living in the UK, shipping is expensive. I’m so glad I got one in this month’s Boxycharm so I could finally try it out!
Firstly, the formula is incredible. It glides on really smoothly and once it’s set it doesn’t feel like there’s anything on your lips at all. I find a lot of matte liquid lipsticks to be quite drying, and with this one I didn’t even have to wear a lip balm or prime my lips first for it to work. It didn’t crack, flake or come off on my teeth, or get cakey with multiple layers.
The colour payoff is really good – I got the shade Demure in my box and it is a beautiful colour that I imagine would suit so many skin tones. When it says it’s transfer resistant it means it too – I thought this was a bit of a myth as pretty much EVERY lipstick on the market says this and well, isn’t, so I was super shocked when this actually didn’t transfer! I found that it did fade quite easily with repeated contact but unless you’re someone who walks around repeatedly kissing their hand, it shouldn’t be a problem.
One thing I’m not crazy about is the packaging. The applicator made applying the product difficult for me, and I found myself overdrawing my lips way too much (I’m talking Fungus from Monsters Inc. post scream-extractor. Seriously.). The wand also seemed to fly out of the bottle rather than doing that suction thing as you pull the doe foot through the top, which makes me a bit concerned about maybe using too much product if I’m not careful.
Overall though, I’m super impressed with Girlactik’s Matte Lip Paint; the quality of the formula far outweighs my issues with the packaging and I’ll definitely be buying more shades, even despite the expensive international shipping!
aloofHawk5
Ultra pigmented and feels nice. However not completely smudge proof when I drink from a cup, it transfers, but not when I kiss my hand..

I bought this on a whim from the forever21 website and I’m SO glad I did. I’m somewhat of s lippie junkie (I probably have close to 300 products), and I’m always in search of a nice liquid matte lipstick that’s transferproof. This stuff smells so good like vanilla cupcakes and applies in kind of a creamy, almost moussey texture. It dries down within seconds and throughout my 10 hour day it didn’t move, crack, or flake….it’s so comfortable more like a stain and I didn’t even feel it on my lips all day. I got Demure which is a beautiful medium mauve.
pridefulUnicorn9
This lip paint is really not good. It sticks to your lips but in an unflattering way and emphasizes the cracks and crevices of your lips. Its also totally drying. I wouldn’t recommend this.

It was such a booming in Jakarta since some of my favorite beauty bloggers and vloggers have been talking about it. I was hesitant at first since it is priced for around 340k IDR in Jakarta. Finding the right shade has been a real struggle as well. At first I want to settle for Allure but I was afraid that it’d be too pinkish. So I ordered the Demure one. Gosh… the packaging was beautiful and it is a lot for a liquid lipstick but they say that it expires in 3 months. The smell of the lipstick is very comforting, like vanilla. One thing though, I think Demure is too dark for me. It is prefect for a slightly grunge look but it is obviously not for everyday look given that my skin is dark olive, I kinda look dirty. I wouldn’t repurchase since there are quite a lot of liquid lipstick in the market that I want to try :p and I’ve been eyeing classic lipstick lately
boastfulJerky6
I have these in Flirtatious, Bashful, Allure, and Starlet. Although these are pricey you get a lot of product – 7.5ML – whereas my other matte lip paint brand is $18 and only contains 4.5ML. I was able to use a 15% off code, got free shipping, and received a free gift with my purchase so I felt I got a good value.
The formula is not too thick or thin and creamy, spreads well and has a yummy vanilla cake-like scent. You really only need 1 layer to get great coverage but sometimes I put on 2 for extra oomph. Out of the ones I own Allure is my favorite because the color is just beautiful but really all of them are very flattering. These do not last all day on me but do not wear off easily either. I usually reapply after lunch when they get a little flaky in the middle of my lips. I like that oil takes them off because I just use a little coconut oil at the end of the day and they come right off vs. having to scrub them off. The packaging is sturdy and classic. The doe-foot applicator is easy to control and doesn’t pick up too much product. They can be layered with a lip pencil underneath, non oil-based gloss or lipstick on top, or even have a shimmer product pressed onto as its drying so they are rather versatile.
Overall I really love these and plan on getting more. They come in a multitude of great colors that have all been flattering on my NC15-20ish neutral/warm complexion. Keep an eye out on Instagram because a lot of beauty gurus will have a 15% off coupon code for Girlacktik!

I have these in 6 colors:
Marshmallow
Soul
Raine Fever
Mars
Roulette
Cherry Blossom
The quality of the lipstick depends on the shade. One thing they all have in common is they dry down quickly and leave no sticky residue behind. They have lasting power as long as you leave your lips alone and don’t disturb the color, and they aren’t overdrying. They also don’t have any weird smells or anything. I’ll review the colors I have worn for a full day’s wear.
Mars: Stays put, doesn’t crumble or transfer and feels nice on the lips, not too drying. Worth the price.
Cherry Blossom: is a beautiful color, but it transfers even while it’s dry. :/ If I brush anything up against my lips it can possibly leave traces of red on my lip area. That’s not good for a lipstick that’s $17. This color can also get crumbly.
Roulette is a nice color, but it gets crumbly and can fade significantly even if you aren’t doing anything heavy duty so other than drinking with a straw, it might crack on you where your lips intersect and look funny after a while. Reapplying is a must, especially on the inner portion of your lip. Adding more on top of it also makes your lips drier. The darker shades (Raine Fever) also tend to be streaky so you may have to apply a few coats.
I haven’t really tried the other colors out yet. I do like these lipsticks, however the price does not necessarily reflect the quality depending on the shade you get.
finickyLemur0
I tend to lean towards darker colors, so when I first saw this tube (gifted to me), I wasn’t too impressed. Nude/LBB shades tend to either wash me out or turn my teeth an unflattering yellow. I was pleasantly surprised when the Posh shade did neither. My face is yellow-toned while my lips are a pigmented mauve and I was hoping to one day find a lip product that would flatter both features without looking extreme in a negative way. On me, Posh is a hybrid of orange, pink and brown. When swatched, it’s a generic terracotta color.
The only flaw, and this is a given, is that it transfers if you consume anything oily. But not to worry, the flaking is minimal. I may repurchase if I’m unable to find a cheaper dupe.
soreGnu1
This is an expensive lippie but the price is justified. Great pigmentation – 1 swipe is good enough to coat your entire lips. Very longlasting and doesnt transfer easily. Good color selection. Smells heavenly! I love it. Repurchasing for sure.

I recently got my hands on this lovely stuff in the shade “Demure” after it was sold out for the longest and I can see why! THIS IS MY FAVORITE MATTE LIP PAINT OF ALL TIME! I love this more than Kat Von D Lolita, more than Coloured Raine Mars and Bachelorette, more than Colour Pop Beeper and Tulle! This lipstick is epic. The medium pink does excellent things for my NW 45 skin tone. It is thin and buildable but not drying, and it is the most sultry matte you can get without being powdery. This shade of pink is so wonderfully wearable, I cannot even explain what it does to brighten up my face. I wanna get 2 backups but am resisting because lately my makeup is out of control. If the apocolypse came I would have enough for all the surviving roaches on Earth to wear makeup every day for 5 years! Well done formula, expert color without a readily available dupe that I know of. I will repurchase.
