This lipstick is the 3rd shade I have tried from the Colour Pop Lux lipstick line. As far as I can tell, they have a creme, a matte and a blur formula. This color is a creme. Online images are usually inaccurate to some degree, and I find the image I uploaded to be fairly true to the color except that the image shows what the shade looks like indoors, out of natural light. After applying 2 coats, I couldn’t get the opacity or color payoff that is shown in the image. And after only a half hour, like the reviewer before me mentioned, it started wearing off even without drinking/eating and with primer on my lips. It is super creamy, feels nice on the lips. I have 2 other shades of Lux lipsticks in the matte formula and much prefer these, not because I necessarily want a matte finish, but because they are very long lasting and more pigmented than the creme.
This color is a decent brownish peachy/coral nude that I specifically bought to go with 2 Colourpop e/s and blush, all in the coral family. FWIW, this color works very well with the Super Shock blush Between the Sheets and the Super Shock e/s Elixir and Glisten. It’s a great look if you have the coloring to pull it off, which I can’t.
Pros:
-Decent packaging for the cost $7
-Feels satiny smooth
-Nice peachy nude for summer
Cons:
-Very short lasting
-Not highly pigmented
If this came in a matte finish, I would love it. I will not purchase again.

So far, I’ve only tried the shade Appy, which is a light coral nude. The shade is gorgeous, and I love the formula, but shades like this don’t typically work on my lips, and this one is no exception.
I’ll get the one negative out of the way first: It gathers at the inner rim of my bottom lip, which looks and feels really scuzzy. Most nudes do this, unless they are more of a gel-like formula like the Flower Petal Pout lipsticks. So for that reason, this shade didn’t work for me, and I’ll be exchanging it.
However, that one minor negative aside, this is a really great lipstick for the following reasons:
Pigmentation: On POINT. This is a one-swipe kind of lip color, and you get intense color payoff with minimal effort.
Formula: SO CREAMY! It glides on, no tugging, leaving a wonderful satin sheen behind for the duration of its wear. I also find it to be very long-lasting. They remind me of the Nars Audacious lipsticks!
Scent: Minimal, but sweet. I like it. It’s almost like a faint butterscotch smell.
Packaging: An absolute 10. It’s gorgeous, feels luxurious, and the stamped stars on the bullet are such a classy touch. Also, it’s rose gold, which is my weakness.
Price: I paid $6 at Ulta, and these usually go for $7 on CP’s site. That’s a darn good price for such a fantastic lipstick!
I’m going back today to exchange this shade for a deeper one in hopes that the weird gathering on my inner lip rim won’t be an issue.
