I am a big fan of the MAC Lustre lipsticks, I enjoy that they are soft and comfortable to wear, and I like the glossy finish. See Sheer is a gorgeous shade of warm coral, which leans red on me. It is somewhat sheer, but does have good colour payoff. It brightens up my face without being too intense of a colour, it is definitely a good shade for a pop of colour for everyday wear. It also makes my teeth appear whiter. It wears very well, and lasts through drinking and light eating. It wears for around 8 hours on me before fading. When it does fade, it does fade evenly. It doesn’t bleed or feather on me. I really love the look this lipstick gives me, I definitely think it can flatter many skin tones, though I do think it would look best on those with warm undertones. This is definitely one of my favourite MAC lipstick shades though.
They work wonders for a pretty face. Due to my warm skin tone and redness, I wanted to use a gorgeous blush under this because it gave the makeup a sparkle in my face, which can be flattering, but this didn’t look good on my face due to the pinky & red pressure from burning my lips. I wasn’t able to achieve the desired result in certain skin areas as it caused bubbles that were drying.

See Sheer is the one of the very few Lustre lipsticks that I possess. I bought it because a girl on Youtube recommended this shade if you want to add a pop of color without going overboard.
On me it looks like a reddish coral shade. The glossy finish and sheer color makes it perfectly wearable in office without looking like a clown.
It’s a perfect shade for the seasons spring and summer, but I wear it when I want to. Unfortunately, due to the lack of pigmentation and finish, it lasts on my lips for max. 2-3 hours before vanishing completely. Drinks are a dangerous thing, meals a no-go.
But I still give this lipstick a full rating since it’s a very beautiful shade and it doesn’t dry out your lips. Another con is you have to repurchase it faster because of the higher amount of reapplying it.

the color is sheer and buildable, and though the wear time isnt great it does fade gracefully with no weird ring around you lips.
its very comfortable and hydrating as well!
Warm my lashes one, two, three times a week and not cause anything stinging with the sheer color.
about half way through the evening with the tea, my lashes just looked sardonic and saucer-like. it was clear with the dilated mascara off. by the way, they didn’t seem to be too pulling back on my lashes as my latest red lipstick…

so well made, in fact, that I applied just enough and lightly mixed with my base powder to make some pretty pigments shine in that area. very edgy of all.

this product gives an extremely nice volumizing effect when applied. that makes my eyelashes scraggly, complete, and wonderful. I’m soooooo glad that this product is so special.
HOW DOES IT LAST?
The color has a very natural 1 on 1 texture with it� easy to apply and perfectly – I use this product everyday and all day long.
I used LoveBlend to make the latest blueberry nail polish.
Drill-proof formula so they don�t have to be roughed up, smooth, or angry after application. very cool
its really italian exclusive and this is great just like every other product.
awesome color, a gentle spring and shine to the skin, very easy to wear, nice drying down time (around 10 hours if you keep waiting for it to dry completely then take a nice breath).
Even the feel of the products is important, the green haze of the, oh, – OMGSSS!!!

…… HOW IT WORKS…
The formulas are formulated with acrylic to achieve the power and glide coverage they claim to have. I opted to apply this product after using LoveBlend for four hours and gave myself a bit of an issue with the powders but after that did not notice. Because of the wait, this product does not bode well for my lashes.
So far I have only applied this product a few times, but if I want to try this

It doesnt apply evenly and does not stay on at all. Looks odd on my nc20 skin. Its too coral for my taste. I prefer syrup a lot more. If you have cool pink undertones syrup would be the better choice. I hated this shade because i looked like a clown if i go ham and get the color to show but it separated on my lips if i just put one layer. It is so drying, lustre is my least fav finish. Sigh too bad

I got this lipstick as part of the Back2MAC recycling program as I’m striving for the ‘K-beauty soft makeup look’.
I also noticed the lipstick tester had the Korean flag on it and the SA told me this shade is a huge seller in Korea, Japan and China. I can see why. I’m Asian, NC30 and it does flatter my colouring and it helps me achieve that K-beauty makeup look that’s all the rage these days.
As the name states, it is sheer and I need to apply a few layers for more depth of colour. (my lips are very pigmented)
This would look lovely on pale lips for that MLBB look and it may work on darker skin tones.
The staying power isn’t that great but that’s the nature of the lustre lipsticks. I don’t mind applying this regularly as I prefer a moist lipstick texture vs. matte and drying.
This shade will be in my permanent arsenal for an everyday look.

They didn’t lie when they used sheer in the name. This kind of a coral tinted balm on me. It is a nice fresh color, and a way to do coral that is not too in your face. Like Syrup, it has a nice sheeny moisturizing finish, so for me it is a great during the day low maintenance lipstick when I want a warmer lip.

I bought this colour 4 days ago & haven’t stopped wearing it since! So fresh & spring like even if the weather here isn’t nearly as joyful as this lipstick! Lovely color, lovely sheen,feels good on the lips. However the formula is a bit patchy & not as smooth as expected. I also feel like the lines in my lips are more visible & any patches are shown more so it gets 1 star less for that.

This is officially the lipstick I’ve been searching for! I have looked at this shade online several times but as it is a Lustre finish and the name being See Sheer I thought this lipstick wouldn’t really be opaque. I ordered it after looking at swatches as I was still on the hunt for a moisturising, yet opaque lipstick in a specific shade. This is what I was looking for – the exact formula and the exact colour :). Despite it being a Lustre finish, it is very pigmented and only needs one swipe to get the full effect. The colour is almost like a mix of Crosswires and On Hold. It is absolutely perfect and is genuinely the first time I’ve been happy with everything about the lipstick – the longevity, the shade and the texture. I’m NC20 with green eyes and this shade is very complimentary against my skin tone. I’m so glad I didn’t let the name put me off. I was actually torn between this and Vegas Volt but I’m so happy I ordered this. I will definitely be repurchasing and will probably buy a back up too :).

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! I’m n18-nc20 and I absolutely love this lipstick. It has a beautiful summer bright coral color and the lustre formula makes the lips very smooth and shiny. I will definitely repurchase!
UPDATE: nope, I won’t repurchase. I really like the colour but the lustre formula is driving me crazy: it doesn’t stay and it’s just too high maintenance. I’ll be looking for this colour in other formulas.
