Very pretty cool nude/light pink hybrid; good for a dark eye. Not a statement nude. Not a true pink though either. A lil a both. Very pretty on my nw20/30 or fake tan darker skin.

This is a very pretty light pink, pretty much a neutral but with a slight lean toward cool. Pinks can be tricky with my warm undertones—since so many are on the extreme cool side–but this one works. This shade is subtle enough that it’s great for everyday wear at the office. But it has enough color that it’s not a concealer lips nude. MAC has recently brought this back as a throwback, and I just bought it recently. I may buy another one before they take it away again.

I bought this lipstick a fair few years ago, in fact it was the first MAC lipstick i ever purchased! It was a limited Edition so i haven’t been able to buy it since! It went great with my Barbie blonde hair, fair skin (NC15) and blue eyes!-I got sooo many compliments! Its a very elegant pinky-nude lustre lipstick, which i would definitely buy again if i could!

I would give it 0 if I could. Aloof is possibly the worst MAC lipstick I have ever own.
I am NC 25 with super warm tone and very pigmented lips, applying Aloof makes me look dead, the milky pink shade totally crashes my skintone and this is not charming. I am sure it works for pale and cool tone lady but sadly this doesn’t work on me. It looks beautiful in the tube thou.

Another outstanding MAC nude lipstick. I have a hard time finding many MAC lustres that I like .. but Aloof ranks up there as one of my all times favs! Has great pigmentation for a lustre, and adds a nice sheen to my lips. This has enough pink to keep it from looking too pasty. On my NC42 skintone, this looks incredible with smokey eyes and plum cheeks!! Raves from me!

This is my perfect nude. 🙂

This is a light pink lipstick, it is a lustre so it is a bit sheer and has some shine. There is no shimmer in this. The color is pink, but not bright a very natural looking milky pink that creates beautiful baby pink pouty lips…very pin up girl. Often these shades can look cakey, but this applies smooth and is lovely. Knocked off a lippie as the staying power is atrocious.

Aloof is a milky pink with no shimmer. It goes well with my fair complexion but sometimes can be a little to light. It is really pretty and looks great with a smoky eye. This is a lustre, but it can sometimes be drying and accentuate lines/chapness on your lips. It would be wise to exfoliate your lips before using this lipstick because it can look kinda weird if it settles into all the dryness.

I am so sad that this lipstick is a limited item. It is a pale, neutral pink. It has a mod look to it. I am an NW15 and this suits my coloring well. I just visited the MAC counter and they only had 8 of these left. I purchased 2. Hopefully there will be a similar color in the future.
