I love shy shine. This is my first review here on makeupalley and this was also my first ever ‘higher end’ lippie. This holds a special little place in my heart haha.
Its a very beautiful MLBB, not too brown, not too pink, not too anything, just a perfect wearable warm nude pink!

I love this color! Not sure why it is not more popular. Very pretty nude with a pink tint. Love Angel but this does not wash me out not that angel does but this provides more color with a deep nude tint. Love it with lipglass please me over it!! Get tons of compliments!!!! Try it!!! If you are in to Barbie colors this is not for you but if you are looking for a pretty nude pink with a punch of color this is it!!

OMG the most perfect nude lipstick I have ever tried on! My new HG lipstick! It does not wash you out whatsoever and it isn’t drying! It compliments my skin tone and it looks gorgeous on! Even more perfect I got it for $9 at the outlets. I will definitely be buying this again when I run out!

Great shade, sheer “My lips but pinker” shade. Just one shade more pink than my natural shade and give my lips a nice healthy look without it looking like obvious lipstick. Great choice for a natural/neutral makeup look. Would repurchase.

Loving this lipstick!! I just got it yesterday. I guess it was discontinued but it’s back!! I wanted a nude that didn’t wash me out, something I could wear every day and I believe this is it!!

Love love love!! My ultimate MLBB!! My favorite drugstore lipstick is revlons “rose and shine” and this is just about the exact same! I really wanted to get a mac lipstick because I prefer their formula so I found this dupe for it.
This is a really pretty nudey pinky rose color! I have porcelain skin and this makes my lips brighter and cuter. Definitely an every day, work, school, shopping, no fuss shade! : ) LOVE it!

Received this lipstick in a swap. Very pleased by the colour, a neutral peachy shade that applies very sheer. I love how emollient this lipstick feels. All the staple nude/peach colours (Myth, Peachstock, Blankety, etc.) are ghastly pale on my skin. Shy Shine is perfect because it has that soft, versatile colour without being too opaque. It has a beautiful dose of shimmer that doesn’t showcase every line on your lips. I only dock one lippie because I think you could find the same effect in one of those Nivea lip balms that has shimmer or whatever. That said, I prefer lipstick to any other lip product so I won’t be replacing Shy Shine with a balm. A very underrated MAC shade!

i looooovvvveee this lipstick, its a lustre finish. it is sheer, but i like the fact it is. i would say this is a nude with a slight peach to it but it looks like a pinky nude. i bought this in hong kong and only just found out that this is asia exclusive, and i don’t know what I’m going to do when it runs out 🙁 i live in the uk so I’m going to have to find a better lipstick than this!

A lovely lipstick good for everyday use. It’s the perfect nude lippy for me that shows up with a nice pink hue in natural light. I’ll have to nab another tube before this is discontinued in my part of the world.

the best pink nude lipstick i ever tried! i’m not sure if it a LE, but i still find this l/s at my nearest mac store and it always out of stock. no wonder…
