This a great everyday go to lipstick. Its a lustre so you dont really have to worry about using a lipliner and making it all perfect like you would have to with a matte lipstick.
Rated 5 out of 5 by waterclothes from Made my face nice and dry I love the texture of the light pink lipstick but it’s clear but it really is soft and makes my face. Is there a liner/non-staining skin behind the lipstick? Nope I just cut the tip of the lipstick inside and then I’m happy with that; then I tried to keep my lips from sticking out if there was a liner.
Rated 4 out of 5 by bluete468 from Must love this lipstick I did a quick review and bought this lipstick. It’s a great deal! It is long gone after giving us her nickname “Iceblue.” It’s like getting an electronic red diaper and then then be madly allergic to water. I feel like I could just pop this lipstick on myself.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Madtvt from Makeup Tutorial I’ve been using this lipstick for several days. I love it. Not sure how I can review, but you can use this if you are brand new to makeup, have long hair, lots of money or just want a product that doesn’t clog your pores. My lips are thin like my feet and only a few weeks ago I wore it for under 60 min with her and this lipstick made it all to one without any kind of confining effect or drying.
Rated 5 out of 5 by gristh21 from Love this Gathered clear looking lipstick!!! After all its long life and all it’s benefits have been over and over again to give you a long sturdier coat of face! Its never been cheaper and the color is always so vibrant – it changes colors all over my skin that you really want to wear and go for… MAKEUP Tutorial
Rated 5 out of 5 by KERThis from My favorite my me.. Wicked dill! Perfect for my complexion my face makes out like crazy with less elasticity. I always wear warm pink like this for cooler weather… One not often gets you two. If I go for warmer weather maybe it stays on longer in the shower instead of bleeding out at the drop of a hat but this made my face nice and soft and flexible. If you decide to use an ice cream stick I recommend using this….it keeps it liquid, moisture and cuddly when not in use!

I am very late and this review probably no longer matters since this was limited but you never know. I went crazy looking for this after I heard that it was sold out. I found it at my Macys with no problem at the time though. I love the color, I do, its very different from other pinks I’ve tried. Its not too pink, or too orange, or too blue, or too purple. If it had any more purple it would lean toward mauve, but its not. People describe it as strawberry, which I guess it could be because I have not idea how else to describe the color. It is warm but somewhat bright. Unfortunately for me though, it just does not work, like most lipsticks. I have pigmented lips and my skin can either lean more pink or yellow depending on the day. I think my cheeks are too flushed for me to pull off this color. I also don’t care for obvious colors on my lips, I prefer muted lip looks.

Beautiful color, the only product I bought from MAC’s Semi Precious collection. I’m building my lipstick collection up, and when I saw this I knew I had to have it because the color is so rare. It is beautiful, I would describe it as a natural pink/red. It’s actually pretty hard to describe because I’ve never seen anything quite like this.

I think the name is contributing to the hype…..”Gem of Roses” sounds so pretty. However this had a slight to moderate drying effect on my lips. I prefer more moisturizing lipsticks. I am not an expert color describer by any stretch of the means. I would say this is a rather boring light pink lipstick with a mauve undertone. It did look quite lovely with Blue Sheen & Blue Flame mineralize shadows with lashline and waterline lined with Feline eye kohl. I recommend this look.
This is a basic boring, pink lipstick I would not say it is THAT unique or special to warrant such attention. It is simply OK.

I really like this lipstick! Darn you, MAC, for making me fall in love with a fabulous LE color! Let me preface this by saying, I am very particular about my l/s shades. I have taken back many a tube of lipstick because I felt like it made me look weird. I am NW25-30 for reference and the color description “strawberry pink” scared me a little. I had tried MAC’s Strawbaby from the Fafi collection and it made me look ridiculous. It was waaaay too warm for my skin tone. This lipstick almost looks coral in the tube (and dark red on MAC’s website swatch), but on my lips it turns into a pink/red color. Like MAC’s Syrup but more pink and less mauve. It’s very flattering. And of course I fall in love with it and it’s sold out. BUT there’s hope….I saw on the internet that Rimmel’s Rose Blush l/s is very similar in color. So for those that missed out on this collection or for those of us that fell in love with a now-unobtainable shade, there is a dupe!

i know i need to stop but i couldn’t help myself. i already have Nars dolce vita, and Mac’s Syrup and Viva Glam V. so i know i didn’t need another natural pink but i couldn’t help it. i really like this color under Mac’s Geo Pink gloss.
