So far, I really like the Love Me lipsticks. Someone described these to me as “Lustres with longer staying power,” and that’s relatively accurate. I’m a HUGE fan of MAC Syrup (a Lustre), but it doesn’t last more than an hour or so on me. I bought Pure Nonchalance because it’s in the same color family (mauve-pink).
After wearing this for a few days, I can say that it does feel nice and the color is a bit more intense than Lustre formulas. It’s creamy and doesn’t dry out my lips. The finish is a cream rather than a shimmer or matte.
I really like the color too. It’s a mauve-y, lavender-y pink, but not too cool that it’s Pepto Bismol pink. It’s appropriate for my conservative workplace.
Overall I think MAC has a really nice product with this line and I’m going to try other shades. I’ve given this a 4/5 for now, but may come back and revise this review after I’ve road tested it a bit longer.
