I’m a fan! Ever since I received a sample of the universally wearable color “Lychee” in a Birch Box, I’ve been a devotee of Jouer’s Long-Lasting Liquid Lipstick. I probably have it in 20 colors and, with one exception, I *love* them all. I love the fact that I can apply it at 7:00 a.m., drink a couple of cups of coffee, bottles of water and eat lunch…and I still have enough color on my lips to look polished without reapplying. Of course, it will fade throughout the day, but enough color remains that I still look pulled-together. If I need to look especially good for some reason (an important meeting/presentation or a social event after work), I will reapply it. Otherwise, I’m no longer a slave to reapplication of my lipstick every few hours. (NB: In the morning I use a lip SPF 50 product underneath, but I nonetheless get good adhesion from Jouer.)
Despite the staying power, this formula is not drying and feels comfortable on my lips. Jouer has a large selection of great color choices (30-something at my last count); and I love the fact that on their website they show photos of each color on the arms of women who have different skin colors. I have a cafe au lait complexion, so it’s extremely helpful for me to see what each color looks like on darker women. Also, Jouer’s price makes it very affordable to buy every color my heart desires. Lastly, I like the packaging of Jouer’s makeup, which allows me *play* (Ha!) by physically attaching various makeup items, thus creating customized portable self-compacts. Clever.
Did I say that I’m a fan? Big time!

I can’t believe how underrated these lipsticks are. They are the best, THE BEST, liquid lipsticks that I have ever used. It’s everything you could ever want from a liquid lipstick.
They glide effortlessly onto the lips, are transfer-proof, and do not emphasize lines on the lips. They are highly pigmented and simply stunning on the lips. They also do not have a very strong scent. They smell like cake batter and vanilla but the scent isn’t that noticeable. In addition, I love how they are non-sticky. Sticky lips are so irritating to me and the fact that they are non-sticky make them so comfortable.
The problem I have with most liquid lipsticks is that they are drying. I have tried Kat Von D, Too Faced, Stila, and more liquid lipsticks and the dry my lips like crazy. These do NOT do that. They are so moisturizing while having the benefits of an amazing lipstick. It is definitely a purchase that I love and I will definitely be getting more in the future.

I recently tried the Jouer liquid lip creme. After seeing a ad on facebook and looking thru the matte and metallic shades, i chose 2. Citranade Rose and Papaye. Both are GORGEOUS. The first one had a beaitiful pink that glistens like crazy. The second is very gold and sparkly…i do like it but i think i would prefer more pink than gold. Iam fair skinned and the metallic shades looked very flattering. Also both made my lips look plumper with is always a bonus. They are easy to apply, and dry fast. I was very pleasently surprised how long wearing they are. I have tried everything and these are by far my new favorite. I just ordered a third color that im super excited to try. Amazing product:)

I have this in Cayenne, which is a pretty metallic rose pink. Unfortunately the colour is the only thing I like about this product.
The formula is slightly streaky and takes a long time to dry down. I need to apply two coats of the product and then wait with my mouth open for it to dry, as pressing my lips together will make the product smear around and leave patches of my lips bare.
Once dry, the lipstick is very heavy and drying on the lips. I can stand most drying LLs but this one is quite difficult to deal with. It also wears away quickly on the inner rim of the lip, but it does not layer well.
Overall this is a beautiful colour but the formula isn’t for me.

These are hands down the best liquid lipsticks I’ve ever used! They are very comfortable on my lips and aren’t drying. I rarely need to reapply throughout the day or night, and when I do, it’s usually only after eating something oily/greasy. Highly recommend these lip crèmes!

The review with 1 star is not deserving. Maybe you applied too much? These liquid lipsticks are the best ones I have tried, aside from Colourpop. They are moisturizing and very long lasting. They wear out evenly, especially on days when I come back home from an 8 hour work shift. 🙂 They have variety of colors and hoping they can come out with bold colors, like orange for the Summer, Pumpkin like color in the Fall or some vampy ones during Halloween. Overall, great value. They have a 40% off sale coming soon that they do every year during Spring, so keep an eye out. 🙂

I own two of the Jouer Lip Creams, due to the fact that everyone seems to rave about them and I haven´t heard a single bad review yet. But they just aren´t for me, I´ve tried to wear them and love them, but no matter if I wear nothing, or lip balm, or lip primer underneath, no matter if I apply lots or little – they just feel heavy and thick on my lips, and the color cracks when I smile. I don´t get it. Beautiful colors, but the result on my lips just can´t seem to be improved, even though my lips aren´t even dry or flaky to begin with.

Absolutely the best liquid lipsticks I’ve tried! Doesn’t dry out the lips, feels comfortable, stays put and the colors don’t change dramatically once on the lips. Highly recommend!

Love these lippies! I have dulce de leche, melon and fraise bon bon. The cool nude pink in dulce de leche is a beautiful matte whisper of colour that matches most looks, melon is good for everyday casual colour and coverage while fraise bonbon is a beautiful bright red with slight pink undertones. As a brown haired girl with pale to medium skin these are perfect shades for me. The texture is quite nice on the lips, they do not stick together or come off onto glasses. There is no gathering of excess product around the edges. The scent is a beautiful vanilla essence ft. marshmallow realness. The only qualm is that the applicator sometimes swipes product off after you’ve put it on but all you have to do is carefully apply. -Cannot recommend these lippies more!!
