Sexual Healing is a sheer shimmer that combines with your lip color. On me it looks pinky/peachy/coral. Nice, subtle scent. It stays like crazy! I love that I don’t have to re-apply. It doesn’t smear or feather. I combine with a darker Clinique lip liner to get a more intense color, when desired. I love this lipstick.

I have very fair skin and I like this stuff. Gives me a little color and a bit of sparkle. Stays on well also.

I usually like NARS products and decided to try something in the brown/copper/brick family. I thought Sexual Healing would be nice by the color, as well as testing it on skin. I liked the soft brick color with a silvery sheen. Unfortunately when this shade is applied to lips, only the silver sheen comes out and absolutely none of the base color, which was a bit surprising to me. I also didn’t like how dry this lipstick is to apply. I guess this was just a bad shade for me.

I’m a fair, skinned, green eyed redhead., I have red, ruddy undertones. So, as you can imagine, I struggle to find lipsticks that look good on me. Despite the fact that this is a frost, which some people feel is “so 80s,” it is the right combo of pink and peach for a redhead. It’s a nice, medium every day lipstick. Hooray for us redheads!

This has become my HG lipcolor. I am on my 4th tube and hope they never discontinue this or I will have to stock hundreds of tubes 🙂 I had always worn nudes or light pinks before this color- but I absolutely love the color for my medium olive skin (NC30) Its a my lips but way better shade- It gives a beautiful pop of shimmery dusty pink lips, and photographs gorgeous. It has a slight shimmer so it illuminates the face. Note- if you like Nars Catfight lipstick you will probably like this as I find them similar in color , this just has some shimmer . I would recommend trying it, perfect for everyday or an evening out with a smokey eye.

I am surprised to see such negative reviews. I bought this lipstick on a whim the other day and I LOVE it. The color is slightly peachy, but it stays on really nicely (which is a ridiculously difficult trait to find in lipsticks!!!) and it looks really nice. And I do not like peach colors on me, but this isn’t all THAT peachy, only slightly. But I use a light pink lip pencil first and that balanced it out. I will definitely buy this lipstick again – although as this is the first NARS lipstick I’ve ever tried, I might see what other colors they have as well. It’s the lipstick itself that I like even more than the color !

I feel as if Sexual Healing is getting a pretty big beating her on MUA! I went out to buy Promiscous, and ended up getting this instead (without consulting MUA which is rare for me). I actually have had it for about a month now and I really enjoy it. I think the issue here is that (1) the formula isnt the greatest, and (2) it will not suite many skin tones.
I have a yellow/golden, leaning towards olive complexion, with hazel eyes and brown hair. I tend to look good in earthy/bronze shades of makeup. Sexual Healing suites my skin very well. It goes on as a muted red with purple undertones and visibile shimmer (not chunks of glitter). It does not look frosty on me, and it certainly does not wash me out, as its noticeably red.
The formula is crap which is disappointing for this price point. It is much too dry, to the point where it is uncomfortable to apply. I moisturize first, always. Moisturizing first transfers some of my balm to the lipstick and helps lessen the dryness factor.
If my skin tone sounds like yours, then I would recommend it. I would purchase another, although there are soooo many other brands and colours to try 🙂

I wish I read the reviews first. This lipstick is very frosty and completely unappealing on. In the stick I thought it looked beautiful, I like that color and can wear it well. But when I got home and put it on I looked like a mess, completely tacky 80s/90s bright frost. It looked so gross, I returned right away! I was surprised b/c I usually love NARS. Steer clear.

For me, this is a much more difficult shade to wear than it appears — I’m very fair, and it can really wash me out if I’m not wearing the right makeup (for reference, NW5-10; NARS Siberia). Sexual Healing is a metallic, peachy pink, and it is pretty heavily pigmented; it’s not a sheer shade. It can also be a bit drying, and I definitely recommend lip balm before applying.
I tried it because it came in my NARS Beautiful Love Lip & Cheek palette — I probably would not have purchased it on its own. I like it better layered over other lip color, but it can work on its own if I’m doing an evening out smokey eye — with this kind of look, it’s a great nude metallic!

Nice, frosty medium peachy pink…very sexy lipstick. I wouldn’t say that it’s an everyday shade (maybe for some) but it’s nice once in a while. The formula isn’t really moisturizing, more drying if anything…but I think all frosty lipsticks tend to be drying. This works well with my olive skin tone. Great lipstick with a dark eye. Wouldn’t repurchase it though because I wouldn’t wear it enough to go through it!
