Expensive, but oh so worth every penny!
I admit, I was drawn in by the name, I thought it was bold, sassy, hilarious and enpowering. My husband encouraged me to purchase, which he didn’t have to tell me twice! He thought the color would compliment my skin tone, etc. and he too thought the name was sassy and enpowering.
When I first applied, the formula won me over. It is smooth, comfortable and lasts about 5-6 hours before needing to be reapplied. It doesn’t dry down completely, stays slightly creamy, but also isn’t drying to my lips. I would call it a dull satin finish. It isn’t totally transfer proof, but won’t wear off fast like regular lipstick. I judge this by what is on the rim of my coffee cup, which is just a slightly moist impression of my lips with very little color transfer.
The color, Pussy Power, is a soft reddish pink, almost rose color. To me it is the perfect pink, not baby pink, definitely not bubblegum pink, but more vibrant and red without being harsh. I would describe it as soft like pink but vibrant like red. It has become one of my most reached for lipsticks and I am dying to purchase more shades but they have been sold out consistently on the Sephora website. The formula is definitely worth trying.
Yes, I do understand that some may be offended by the name but I chose to look at it as empowering rather than objectifying. The color is gorgeous and I believe it would compliment any skin tone.
