I purchased this color sight unseen. As I have aged, I am much pickier about lipstick texture. The sweet spot for me lately is a non-drying soft matte liquid formula, which isn’t easy to find. A lot of mattes are too drying or have too thick a texture. This one is fairly thin, similar to YSL’s Tatouage but it is quite a bit more drying. This isn’t the fault of the lipstick, but the color was all wrong for me. I need medium brownish pinks or beiges with enough peach. This was really cool toned. It was a beautiful color, but almost taupe which I don’t like on me. If the color had looked great, I would have overlooked that it was a tad too drying a formula, but as it was very expensive, $55 and I knew I would hardly ever wear it, I returned it.
