The cost of this vs the quality is so disappointing.
I bought the gorgeous plummy brown shade Magnetic Attraction when feeling flush with birthday cash and having a momentary lapse in judgment. You’d think a $65 would be so excellent, you’d wear it all the time. Sadly, this is not the case.
It looks creamy satin gorgeous for about 10 minutes and goes downhill fast. It comes right off with a sip of water and leaves unsightly matte patches and rings of product behind. I could see this with $5 lip products, but there is no excuse with Tom Ford.
The kicker was the Essence Instant Color lipstick I bought from the drugstore for $5 CDN. The quality, feel, look and lasting power is so much better. Seriously, $5. And it way outperforms. I have shade 7 and love it.
Please don’t waste your money on this unless you need the Tom Ford name for whatever reason (e.g. a prestige job where someone sees your lipstick). Otherwise, it’s just so disappointing. Frankly, I’m embarrassed I spent so much on a lipstick that isn’t even reliable.
