I have bought Bitch Perfect and The Duchess so far. I don’t quite love the first because the light peachy nude color kind of washes me out and the formula isn’t my favorite either. I suspect there has something to do with the hardly noticeable micro-shimmer but feels semi-drying and greasy on the lips at the same time.
The Duchess though is great, smooth and silky but also very creamy. The medium pink neutral shade is really pretty – lively and fresh but not quite falling in the too girly territory. A perfect everyday lipstick for romantic looks.
The packaging looks good but feels a bit light and cheap while the lipstick isn’t inexpensive. Good longevity for creamy formulation with both. So far hit or miss really but I’m curious to try a couple more shades.

I have this in “Glowing Jen” (tawny rose, named after Jen Aniston). Glowing Jen is a K.I.S.S.I.N.G. formula lipstick from the Hot Lips 2 collection and has a GORGEOUS fancy leopard print tube. Obviously this is an expensive lipstick. This is also my first CT product.
I’m not sure what’s up with a lot of these reviews because the formula is wonderful. It’s balmy and hydrating yet still packs color. I wouldn’t use the word “sheer” but it’s probably 7.5/10 on the scale of opaqueness, which is a choice I respect. The shape of the bullet helps with precise application. Maybe the shades perform differently because GJ lasts a FAIR amount of time on me for a non-matte. I only need to reapply after a full meal and it stains my lips a bit so I’m not left with nada. It does have a very slight drying effect as well as a bit of ring-around-the-lip as it wears off but I have constantly parched lips and reapplication is a breeze.
Honestly the only thing I don’t absolutely love about this lipstick is the shade. It’s a workhorse color, a little bit boring, and unlike other self-deemed “boring” lipsticks I own, it doesn’t truly lift my complexion or add life to my face. (What I really wanted was a sheer rusty shade.) I have a feeling this will look much better with me in the winter months when I’m paler and the contrast between skin and lips grows. I am definitely going to check out more shades in the K.I.S.S.I.N.G. line (typing that is a PITA, Charlotte) when I want a makeup treat. Unlike a lot of expensive cosmetics, this 100% feels like a worthwhile luxury product.

I have this in Night Crimson and i am in love with the color and formula. I pair this with Berry Naughty Lip cheat and the combo is so pretty and vampy. its perfect for fall and winter especially when the lips tends to be a bit dry, The formula is smooth and creamy but it does have a bit of a slip and slide. Even though its not bullet proof, it fades gracefully and its stunning. I do have to touch up after eating and drinking as with any lipstick. I dont mind it at all because it smells delicious and its very buildable. Ths color is your perfect vamp wine red. it makes my teeth super white. Think oxblood, it doesnt lean too purple on me. its a perfect shade of berry.
I do suggest using it with a burgundy color lipliner. Ive also tried BItch Perfect and it was way too salmony orange on my skin. I also hated Stoned Rose because it was also too warm brick orange on me. I still like Matte Revolution a bit better because its less of a hassle and less messy. This is great but i wish it was longer lasting on the lips BUT, more longevity means more drying, so i guess you cant have best of both worlds in lipsticks. This is a super comfortable, moisturizing and slightly glossy shade. Its what i wish Mac DIva can be, but Diva is sooo dry. id repurhcase this or if Charlotte brings back Opium Noir or Shanghai Nights!!
Edit, had a 16 course meal and it didnt hold whatsoever. Sigh i am going back to my Mac Diva

I have this in the shade JK Magic from the Hot Lips 2 collection. First I have to say, this lipstick has the most beautiful packaging I’ve ever seen. When it comes to the formula, it’s hydrating and creamy. It wears off gracefully throughout the day. The reason why I wouldn’t repurchase it is that it doesn’t last long enough for such an expensive product.

I got the Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G. lipstick in the shade Night Crimson as a present .The packaging and colour are absolutely stunning! On top of that this lipstick smells so delicious like vanilla extract.
I prefer using long-lasting liquid lipsticks, because I don’t like having to reapply lipstick throughout the day, but since it was a present I didn’t want to return it and the colour is so beautiful.
I used a lipliner before applying the lipstick to help it last longer, but it didn’t help. This lipstick is not that long-lasting, it doesn’t dry so your lips are left feeling sticky and it’s not very pigmented either.
Then I noticed that the colour was bleeding around my lips, which made me look crazy like the Joker.
Overall I cannot recommend the Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G in Night Crimson. This lipstick formula is absolutely awful. It’s not long-lasting, too sheer, too sticky and bleeds. For this kind of price I expect this lipstick to perform like a Champion, but it is a complete fail.

This is a nice luxury lipstick. It applies nicely, wears off gracefully, and comes in great packaging. However, where this product lost stars for me was wear time.
Wear time is the most important thing I look for especially in a luxury lipstick. Otherwise, I can’t justify the price for something that wears off rather quickly (not even 2 hours into my work day). Her matte formula won an extra lippie from me because it does stay on longer.
Would I repurchase? No, but I wouldn’t deter people from buying the product either. This would be more of a splurge item for consumers and if you want to treat yourself I don’t think you would be disappointed with application or overall product. Especially if what you look for is a nice formula for your lips.
Just be realistic and realize this is more “picture makeup” (retouch it before pictures and it looks beautiful) rather than “everyday life” lipstick where you might not want to be maintaining a lipstick all day.

This review is for the Nude Kate shade,
Let’s start off with the obvious and something we all agree on: the packaging is gorgeous! The ribbed rose gold lipstick tube packaging is glamorous, beautiful…. you WANT to pull out your lipstick in public! (The only other lipstick packaging that, for me, rivals this one is YSL’s beautiful ornate lipstick tubes – which I’ve even had guys comment on !!!!). I like having a metallic/mirrored end so it can serve as a mini mirror. This one is a little obscured by the embossed logo but it still does the trick.
Now, for the lipstick. I fell in love with the color online, both in pictures and in CT’s video tutorials. It looked like the perfect shade. When I received it, (fedex service is automatic from the CT website, accompanied by many samples) I was a little shocked by how pale it looked – much more so than in pictures. There was a definite retro, chalky, pastel-y vibe to it. Even more so when I put it on. I couldn’t decide if it made me look dead or like Anna Karina (the French New Wave actress) in the 1960’s. For reference, I’m a NW20. Though I’m a pale-ish redhead, warm tones tend to look muddy on me and wash me out. This lipstick has a neutral to cool toned beige-y, pale pink-y tone to it without being ashy, taupe-y or grey. (In her “rock chick” tutorial, CT does mention she used to hand mix this shade on photo shoots using concealer and pinky-beige lipsticks). The shock of seeing the actual color was combined with the shock of the very different lipstick texture. That was definitely retro! Today, we’ve grown used to either tinted lip balms, or matte and last-all-day lipsticks. This had the old-fashioned lipstick texture of a heavy lip balm. Again, I couldn’t decide if it was moisturizing or occlusive. The lipstick itself is not really glossy but not exactly matte either. Think heavy lip balm – moisturizing in a heavy wax kind of way, not oily, slick or shiny but with a slight sheen. It is worth noting that other reviews have spoken of a “white residue” on their mouth after a time – I have not experienced that with this lipstick, or any other for that matter. (Perhaps it’s a body chemistry thing ???) There is a slight vanilla scent to this CT lipstick too but no taste. It wears decently but, like retro lipsticks, comes off easily with food, drink or wiping your mouth. (This DOES leave a mark on your glass!)
Back to the color and the look of it…. Long story short, it grew on me. A lot!!!! I guess my eyes – and my lips – needed time to adjust. (I had been wearing Kat Von D’s vampira so this is a complete 180 from that). While I initially thought this had an almost deathly, concealer-like look on my lips, I now see it as a chic finish to the smoky eye look I adore. Classy and modest enough to be office appropriate but edgy enough to be nightclub worthy, this lipstick is one magnificent multitasker! It has become my everyday and every night go-to lipstick. I almost thought this was a mistake – but I’m glad I stuck it out and gave it a chance because now I absolutely love it!!!

I have this lipstick in the shade “Night Crimson” which is a beautiful, deep, cool-toned red which is perfect for the autumn/winter season and bang on trend. It looks beautiful on my NC15 skin and not too vampy as it is more pinky than brown.
As noted by others, the packaging is to die for. The formula is not in the least bit drying – it is more so on the moisturising side if anything. Wear time is average for a non-matte lipstick, it will need to be re-applied after eating.
I love to pair this lipstick with a deep red gloss for a shiny, berry-like look but it is also gorgeous on its own.
Overall this lipstick is expensive and probably quite dupeable but the colour and formula are lovely and it makes for a nice luxury treat if you want to splurge! I have already repurchased this lipstick.

Purchase Coachella Coral and Bitch Perfect.
Coachella coral – is a very pinky cool coral (didnt really suit my medium warm skin tone)
Bitch perfect – is a warm peachy pink (a good everyday alternative to a nude)
Both products were presented beautifully in the box, the bullets are gorgeous to put on and do glide on the lips beautifully.
I use a neutral lip liner as I don’t like a lip line and I use the liner first, apply lipstick and will also just touch up the line over the lipstick at the end.
Wearability – perfect first application, lasted a cup of coffee and I got up to 2.5 hours of wearability before reapplying again. I did notice a little bit of feathering, I had scrubbed my lips to see if that made a difference but it didn’t.
The lipsticks are very moisturising and perhaps for me this is why they didnt stick around. I did also try a little bit of gloss over the top and this did seem to work with keeping moist lips.
I found the products expensive, I probably won’t purchase again as there are probably alternatives out there that are more in my cost bracket. I tend to buy all CT products via the US, so with shipping costs and conversions it all starts to add up.

Omgggggg lurve these lipsticks! I got the lipstick “charms” w the set of 3 mini lipsticks (Penelope Pink, B*tch Perfect, & So Marilyn), which they are all quite small but perf for putting in ur purse & a gr8 way to try CT products if ur like me & never tried them this is a good sampler! I like them all equally which is equally distressing as I may “have” to buy them in full sized! Haha. I don’t have to do anything except pay taxes & die, but I am addicted to MU I admit so I can buy 2 MAC lipsticks or 1 CT. Or every wetnwild MegaLast matte. I’m really loving B*tch Perfect but I hate that name. It’s the perf creamy nice nude. P-Pink isn’t really all that pink & So Mar is the perf glamourpuss red carpet red. Charlotte Tilbury is magickal! I don’t suggest trying/buying the charms if you’re not prepared for a serious addiction. CT is lyfe!
