With the launch of Going Coconuts, I purchased the entire set. Included was the lip tints in Island Time, Shaka and Waikiki. I purchased them because they seemed to be a more economical version of Clinique’s Chubby Stick Color Balms, which I use religiously.
The color and moisture is GREAT. There is only one VERY fatal flaw: The fragrance used is very offensive and smells of cat urine. My daughter says it it a peach fragrance? Even my husband agreed with my observation. I’m seriously disappointed because I was sincerely looking forward to purchasing every color.
If you are sensitive to fragrance BE WARNED.

I was not expecting to like this! But ohhhh how I love it!
I picked up A Go Go at Ulta for $7 USD and expected to just get a slight tint and some balmy texture, but what I got was a lot more pigment, longer than expected wear time, and a lightweight texture that melts into my lips, making them soft and supple for hours. That, and this shade is perfect for my light, olive complexion, even on days when I want to go for a more muted makeup look. It’s not bold, but it’s bright enough to make me look radiant and awake!
I should mention that there is a strong scent in these upon application. It’s very fruity, and there’s a bit of a taste. I don’t mind it (actually I like it), but those who are sensitive to fragrance/flavoring might find it unpleasant.
The packaging is a bummer. The bullet doesn’t swivel all the way down until you use a considerable amount, and the cap has a tendency to pop off if you don’t really jam it down onto the tube. There’s a little notch in which the cap sits, which will keep it secure enough if you’re careful to affix the cap properly, but if you’re in a rush, this little detail might be missed which could result in a big mess.
But, for $7 for a banger of a formula, I’ll let the packaging slide. I’ll DEFINITELY get more of these!
