I absolutely love this lipstick. It stays on ALL day. Like, I have to take it off at night with my toothbrush. I reapply the gloss a lot during the day, but I like my lips glossy. I love the taste of the gloss it comes with, but it is gone within the first week, whereas the lipcolor will last two months. I use the CoverGirl Outlast gloss that sells separately. I wish L’Oréal would market this gloss separately, as I do prefer it.
I would say that the color wears evenly throughout the day, but honestly, it barely wears off at all. But what little fading there is, is uniform, and doesn’t look splotchy. And best of all, it is not crumby or flaky. I blot after applying, let it dry, and it is set for the day. doesn’t transfer to clothing, people, glasses, nothing. Stays put, until you take it off…
The only negative I have with this product is the lack of color choices. I need to buy two different colors to get what I am looking for. They are all either too bright pink, or too muddy brown. In the tube, nutmeg or everlasting caramel look to be the nude shade I want. But, once on, they are not at all flattering. I go over the toujour teaberry with the neverending nutmeg to get more of what I’m going for. I’m still on the search for a color I can wear by itself, but the rest of the colors are nowhere near what I want.

This product has more or less just been released in the UK. I mention this, as there may be other colour choices in other countries. Firstly the pros, does last, doesn’t feel as drying as the Maybelline, imho. Doesn’t go gritty and apparently has hyaluronic acid which is good for lips. The cons: I really wish they had kept the container the same as the other discontinued Infallible lipcolours. The one which had a mirrored container and was rectangular. Apart from being aesthetically more pleasing, the mirror was a really good idea. Also, the colour choices, or should I say, lack of them. There are 8 which, for me, is not a wide enough colour range. Maybe I am being a bit picky, but since Maybelline (same parent company) have 35 available in the states (again, not in the UK), I just think they are limited. I presume they will launch other colours when the product has been around a bit longer. As per usual with most colour swatches on-line, most don’t resemble the swatches, so I wouldn’t advise purchasing on-line unless you have already tested the colours and know you like them. If you don’t want a massive colour choice and are not bothered about packaging, I cannot fault the longevity and comfort of this lip product.
