My Mum got a tester of this in a bonus time package and wasn’t keen on the colour (she prefers brown shades) so offered it to me. I wasn’t expecting to like it (it’s just a pink lipstick, right?) but I LOVE it. I have used up the entire test bullet and fully intend on purchasing the full lipstick. It is GORGEOUS. A stunning rosey tone with a beautiful golden glimmer through it – perfect for pale skins. I always get compliments when I wear it and think it makes me look quite youthful as it’s a very natural ‘pop’ of colour. Further more, it’s incredibly comfortable on the lips and absolutely worth the money! I wouldn’t normally pay through the nose for a lipstick but the colour and formula are so lovely, I will make an exception for this (and try and find an online offer!)
Excellent work, Clinique.

My Clinique lady threw a full size silver tube version of this into my gwp for me to try. I LOVE it! Yes I will buy another tube when this wears out. It’s my go to shade for evening wear. Plays nice with my red hair due to the gold shimmers.
As others said, this has a deep rose shade, with a pretty golden shimmer. It looks dark in the tube and it is a bit darker than I normally go for, but I really like it when it’s on. It brightens up my face and looks almost like a toned down rose red. Neutral undertones to the rose red along with the gold shimmer. I can’t wear a true red lipstick anymore, but this fits my need for a reddish toned lipstick that has life but is neutral enough that it doesn’t look harsh on my aging features.
It is sheer in spite of the rich colour and I think it fits into a neutral classification, good for warm or cool tone skin from fair to dark. Just try it.
Has SPF 15, which according to Paula Begoun is a full spectrum SPF—very nice, thanks Clinique. AND it is really really moisturizing without sliding into lip lines. It lasts till I eat something at, which is when I reapply anyway! LOVE IT!!!!!
I now own 3 of these High Impact lipsticks from Honey Blush (lovely pinky nude) to Rosette here and another called Rose Sqectrum in a rose brown cream which appears to have a similar colour to a previous version same name in a now discontinued line. I am really impressed with this line and with all 3 lipsticks.
I just added a photo of all 3 on the back of my hand to help compare. Honey Blush #16 is on top, Rosette #17 is in the middle and Rose Spectrum (I think it says #20) on the bottom.

Got this as a GWP and I like it. It’s a good wearable colour for the office, the gold shimmer makes it a little different and I love the look and feel of the formula. Long wearing and yet moisturising, the SPF is a bonus in my climate. Love it

Over the years, I’ve been the happy recipient of many GWP Clinique lipsticks (let’s face it – what is more hit-and-miss than lipstick shades?), and this one came as a “mini” from an on-line order. It turned out to be a full size, which is good because I do like it. This was my first “High-Impact” style (while I use lots in the “Different” line), and I can’t be sure if they’re all this way – it goes on a little drier, but then it lasts. Now I wouldn’t call it “drying”, but then again, I use clear superbalm at night. More surprising was the light gold sparkle over the deep coral color. Overall, it’s a bit much for daytime, but this definitely found a place in my bag. I would say try it at the counter first, given all the aspects that won’t please everyone. Thanks once again Clinique!

I love Clinique’s lippies cuz they are soo buttery and moisturizing with an added SPF 15! But this colour unfortunately just looks a little too pink for me and the golden shimmers aren’t too flattering on me either. I’m an NC 43…and I can’t seem to pull this colour off…but I could mix it with another colour just for the other advantages! Will purchase in a more suitable colour next time! 🙂

I got this as a freebie from my local Clinique counter and while its a nice burnt reddish pink with a micro gold shimmer I probably wouldn’t have rushed out to buy it myself. I will probably be wearing a bit more during winter/autumn, just because I like darker, more opaque coverage during the colder months. It does have SPF 15, which is also a bonus – but I think you could expect that from most Clinique products.

I got this as a sample in an online order quite a while ago, and it sat in my drawer for a while. I pulled it out this spring, and I LOVE the color. It is a nice brighter rose with a touch of coral and little golden shimmers. It really warmed up and brightened my whole face. But I just can’t stand the High Impact formula. It feels very heavy on my lips, if that makes sense. It also settles in every little crease in my lips, which doesn’t look very good. Its also so drying on me, wearing it once takes my lips a week to recover. I’ve had the same issue with other shades in this line, so it must just be something about this particular formulation – other Clinique lippies are fine.
I’m still looking for a good color match in another lipstick formula. The closest I have come so far is Clinique’s Different Lipstick in Rose Taffy. It’s much, much more sheer, but has that same golden/coral/rose look to it. I keep the sample of Rosette in my purse to swatch against anything I come across that might be closer, the color is that pretty!

I wanted to tone down my lipstick as I usually wear bright red and have been feeling a little too “way out there” lately as fewer people are wearing bright red.
This lipstick is a lovely alternative. It is a neutral pink with red undertones, so it doesn’t scream “look at me”. It is really a few shades deeper than my natural lip colour, with a lovely sheen.
The silver case is lovely, but as I’m used to Urban Decay lipstick I found the case harder to open – UD housing is by far the best, but that’s a minor point.
For a lipstick with a sheen, this is a bit drying so I dab a bit of gloss on the top, not too much because gloss on top of lipstick is the recipe for lipstick on the teeth.
So far, I am happy with this choice of lipstick and I would buy it again.

I hate being the odd one out, but I really don’t like this color. It reminds me a little too much of NARS Christina. The golden frost seems to settle in the lines of my lips and makes them stand out way too much. It’s going back to the store.

I like the look and feel of the High Impact lipsticks a lot. They deliver a lot of color and staying power without feeling heavy at all. They are a definite lipstick (more matte) as opposed to a gloss but they are nice for the office because of that. Rosette is a very pretty, wearable reddish pink with slight golden shimmer. The shimmer helps tone down the matte look and the pinkish edge gives off a “wearble” daytime red/deep pink. Your lips are noticeable and it brightens the complexion without being overly loud and vixenish. My only minor complaint would be that the lipstick is slightly drying after a while–definitely not drying like many “longwear” lipsticks( it actually feels moist when you press your lips together) but it could moisturize just a little better. The good thing is that it fades pretty well–it doesn’t wear off in balls/clumps and doesn’t leave too much of a ring on the outline of your lips.
