I’m knocking off one lippie because I have had several of these lipsticks that have broken off after only a few uses. I couldn’t return them because the receipt was long gone at that point.
The color Lethal Kiss is a perfect blue based pink that is perfect for my cool, fair skin tone. I’m pale so I need a vibrant color to wakeup my face and I LOVE Lethal Kiss! I’m so cool toned that I cannot wear anything with even a tinge of yellow in it. I hope they never stop making this lippie. The formula is long lasting but I do need to reapply it throughout the day. It’s matte and slightly drying so I use a clear gloss over it.
My only wish with this lippie is that it was packaged in a tube that prevents the product from breaking off. I’ve hesitated to buy replacements because of the breaking problem but I always pick up a couple when NXY is on sale at the drugstore. There is also just a small amount of product in the tube, it’s only 0.08 oz. but the price is cheap enough.
Cool toned blondes with very fair skin and light eyes will love this color.

Purchased NYX Full Throttle in the shade “Trickster”. I’d say Trickster goes on as a strong lilac shade, but not overly bright or glaring. Looks great on fair skin tones. Coverage very good. Just one layer has strong color payoff and the application lasts fairly well without too much transfer. I like that this is one NYC matte that comes in a thinner tube and takes up a little less space in my travel kit than the standard lipstick tubes.
I’d definitely try this in other colors or repurchase this particular shade. Price point of NYX lipsticks is always very reasonable and when you hit a sale, even better.

Anyway, I really recommend this lipstick. It’s a definite would-buy again.The texture is nice. This is a creamy matte lipstick, so there is a lot of pigment. Most importantly, it is very long lasting.
I bought the shade Trickster from the local drugstore, the color is a natural-ish fuchsia. Even though the color is bright and somewhat strong, it really compliments my face and brings it to life (NC20). Very feminine too. So a big yes to the Trickster shade. I don’t know about trying out the other shades though as I have thin lips, and darker lip colors are usually not flattering on me.

Weird how this lipstick doesn’t dry out my lips despite it being such a matte and long lasting lipstick! I love the red colours in this range! It lasts through my meals and drinks without much transfers! It is also easy to apply precisely and wear comfortably. This deserves more hype! Would highly recommend!

I am actually really surprised with the bad reviews on here. Maybe the formula has changed since last year? The first shade I bought was in Nightcrawler. It’s a very deep purple shade. I wore it all day, it wasn’t drying at all and it was very comfortable on the lips. I always prep my lips before wearing any lipstick. I exfoliate, and moisturize the night before and do the same thing the morning of. However, it does transfer a bit. It is definitely waterproof, however if you were to wipe your lipstick off it will rub off. I have the driest lips ever due to undergoing radiation from a few years ago, and I think I finally found my holy grail lipstick. I’ve tried so many affordable and mid-range brands like L’oreal, Revlon, Colourpop, even some other NYX lip products, to Nars, Smashbox, Marc Jacobs and BareMinerals. None of them were as comfortable and non-drying as this lipstick. After using Nightcrawler, I went back to my local Ulta to buy two more of these in the shades Kiss the Dust and Con Artist. I’ve never had the issue of my lipsticks breaking off like other reviews said. I think you should just be careful and not twist the lipsticks all the way up because I think it is a bit fragile.
The only reason why I couldn’t give it the full 5 lipstick rating is because it does transfer. I really recommend using a lip liner before applying the lipstick so that it would last longer, transfer less, and you can get a more precise application. I use either the NYX slim lip pencils or the Milani Color Statement Lip Liners. Also, always apply a lip balm underneath the lip liner so that it would be even more comfortable. I do always have to reapply after eating but I really do not mind doing that since the lipstick itself is small enough to just reapply to the areas that need it. I hope NYX never discontinues this line.

I have this lipstick in the shade “Loaded”. It’s maroon with hints of brown and berry, although it’s described as “deep mauve” by the brand.
It glides on comfortably, but it will instantly catch on to any hint of dryness on the lips. Its patchy and moves around when you’re applying it, so when you try to remedy one area, it’ll uncover another. I also can’t seem to be able to get the edges smooth with it. They look very rugged up close regardless of lipliner.
This shade might look better on someone with darker skin, where you don’t instantly see the patchiness as well as on my very pale skin. I almost want to try another shade for comparison, but I don’t want to waste my money.
I can’t tell you about the longevity or water resistance, since I haven’t worn it for more than 10 minutes at a time since I don’t want to wear it outside of my home.

Locked is pretty much my favorite lipstick color ever for my fair skin. It’s gorgeous. It’s berry without going fuchsia or magenta. It’s bright without being garish. It’s dark without being inappropriate for work. If I were giving this color itself the lippies, it would be an easy 5. I love it.
Locked isn’t the only color I have, though, and there’s more to my lipstick criteria than color alone. Here’s a breakdown of my thoughts:
Pros:
+ It lasts. Even the swatch I did before buying it took a while to finally wash off.
+ Excellent color payoff. REALLY excellent color payoff for the darker colors, at least on me.
+ It doesn’t go on super thick.
+ It isn’t super drying. I still need to hydrate my lips beforehand, but it doesn’t leave my lips feeling gross.
Cons:
– You need a lip brush. This doesn’t glide on right from the stick.
– It doesn’t wipe off if I goof up while applying, which is another reason I need to use a lip brush. Not a big deal, though.
– Color selection is a bit small compared to NYX’ other lip color lines. I’d love a slightly less punchy plum color with this same formula.

I got two colors and I really like color 03, and I don’t mind that the chiseled tip goes away and that it can be a bit dry feeling. However, the entire length of the lipstick somehow snapped off and stuck to the inside of the cap rendering the lipstick pretty useless now. I didn’t leave it in the sun or heat, I guess it’s just so flimsy/soft that it snapped off somehow. I tried hitting the cap on my desk and stuff to get the lipstick to fall back down but it won’t. So I guess the only way to use it now would be to use a lip brush or something.

I have this shade in Kiss the dusk and hands down this lipstick won’t budge! Wore it right after I bought it, been sipping water throughout the day and even napped with it. I had no colour transfer in my water bottle and pillow + the lip colour stayed on until I washed my face with a cleansing oil. The only thing I would say is to make sure your lips are scrubbed and hydrated before slapping this sucker on.
