I love this lipstick!
I’m half Irish so I’m very light skinned/fair. My go-to lip colors are usually pinks, mauves, berries and/or any combo of these.
This lipstick is my absolute favorite everyday nudey-pink-with dusty mauve undertones/my lips but better. It has just the right amount of color to punch up my natural lips and goes with any crazy eye look I can come up with. I firmly believe that one feature should be the “star” of a makeup look and for me that is always the eyes. So when I do a multicolored smoky eye look this pinky mauve is great for not drawing too much attention away from that.
I actually buy 2 tubes of this at a time (on Amazon a lot) so I can keep one at my vanity and one in my purse at all times (so I’m never caught without lipstick.)
It goes on smoothly and doesn’t feel heavy or drying.

Is brick pink a color? If so, that’s what color B52 is. I guess you could kind of describe it as a darker dusty rose as well, but it doesn’t share that greyish undertone that its cousin Thalia has. This is a shade or two darker than my natural lip color, but it still looks natural and flattering on. The formula is really nice and pigmented, and with liner it wears really well.

Pleasantly surprised! Applies beautifully, no mess – lasts for ages. Doesn’t dry my lips, either. The shade was darker than I expected, and when I put it like I’d put a normal lipstick it does look a bit too dark, it’s a cool toned brownish shade. By dabbing it on, blending with a finger it’s a great MLBB-lipstick for me, super flattering.
Got it on sale for about 3 euros. Packaging is pretty, smells pretty neutral. No bad thing to say yet.

Sorta looks similar to Thalia but it is not quite and is definitely a bit brighter and darker.
Appears to be a pinky brown and a little reddish.
On my skin it is a light reddish brown that just does not look flattering.
I almost want to say it sorta looks orangey on my lips that’s not quite right I am not sure what it is exactly but something does not agree with my skin tone.

I love this line, but B-52 was a dud for me. The undertone is a COOL toned brown, which comes across as a taupe-y grey (gross). Looks hott on a corpse, but fair-skinned neutral tones like myself need to stay far, far away from the “wrapped in plastic” look.

This was my first NYX lip product and I can’t say that I’m impressed. I wanted to like the color because it seemed to be a wearable everyday kind of pink, but at least on my skintone it reads as candy colored and juvenile.
Aside from the coloring mismatch, the consistency is nondrying and creamy, but doesn’t last long (3hrs maybe). If you don’t mind having to reapply every few hours, I guess this wouldn’t be much of a problem.
The packaging isn’t sturdy either. It’s made from a light plastic, and the twist up doesn’t have much of the firm resistance I like in my other lipsticks. The lack of solidity makes it feel more like a toy.
Based on my experience with this one circle lipstick from NYX, I get the feeling that these are great for experimentation if you’re on a budget and still figuring out which colors look good on you, but I wouldn’t consider these to be long term staples.

So drying! That weird floral smell! A “meh” color. Not all NYX rounds have this weird floral smell, but this one does, and so does Thalia! A color that’s very close to a bunch of others that’s out there. I prefer NYX’s perfect which is less brown and doesn’t have that floral smell and is not as drying. If I get around to it, I will return it.

I love bright lipstick, but ever since I got Invisalign last year, I’ve been staying away from bright colors to avoid attention to my mouth and the inevitable “Do you have clear braces?” question. I’ve been wearing Mary Kay’s Natural Beaute for about a year, and I bought this while waiting for my refill because I thought it’d be a dupe. It isn’t – IMO B52 has more pink in the pink-brown shade and Natural Beaute is more brown in the pink-brown shade.
Cons: THE SMELL. I’ve never complained about a fragrance in a cosmetic before ever, but the floral scent is definitely a turn-off. It’s a weird fake floral perfumey smell that hits me immediately. I don’t notice anything in the “taste” but if I didn’t like the shade and price point so much I definitely would hesitate purchasing it again. Thank goodness the odor fades quickly. The other thing is that the packaging is cheap, like with all of NYX cosmetics. I recommend following the former owner (NYX was sold to L’Oreal last year) Toni Ko on Instagram. @tonibologni. She answers questions about NYX products and just seems like an awesome woman in general. She’s acknowledged that they focused more on product quality than on fancy packaging. For the most part it’s worth it since the range of products NYX offer at their price point is pretty remarkable, but I do wish I could travel with my NYX products without being concerned the cases will break, like they have for my eye shadows and bronzer. In this case the plastic tube looks and feels cheap, like the play pretend lipstick you get for little girls who want to play dress-up.
PROS: Creaminess and color payoff are GOOD. With Invisalign you constantly need to brush brush brush your teeth each time you eat or drink a beverage that isn’t water, and as a result my lips are drier, especially this winter. This lipstick is hydrating and camouflages, not highlights, any dryness I have. This is a total MLBB lipstick that’s pinky-brown. One or two swipes does the trick. Any more and it looks too dark. It’s a good every day color to use when I want to look put together without trying too hard.

Everyday brownish-pink tone, adds definition but is not screaming “I wear lipstick”. Does not dry lips but is not that lasting as black label lipsticks from NYX. But for the price, great.

I bought this in my eternal search for the perfect MLBB lipstick. Descriptions on MUA sounded promising. However, this shade is too bright for me and looks “fake” – kind of like an 80s housewife look, don’t know how to describe. I do like the consistency, as it’s very moist, but I never end up wearing it.
