I tried Strawberry Milk and Baby Pink. I bought them both because of the pastel and cool undertones – I find cooler toned colors harder to come by when it comes to drugstore lipsticks.
Strawberry Milk was incredibly streaky and it broke the day I bought it. I assumed it was due to the shipping, as I ordered it from Amazon.
Then I tried Baby Pink which is a cooled toned frost similar to harmonica but cooler. I liked the color a lot but this one broke too.
I like that these are very affordable but I’ve realized the packaging is garbage which is why these break all the time. There are other colors that look really unique I’d love to try but after both of the ones I’ve purchased broke, I’m not taking any chances again with this line.
If NYX were to raise their prices for the extra creamy round line in order to get sturdier packaging I’d reconsider buying more – I use L’oreal and Maybelline which cost a bit more but are still really well made and have never broken, and still relatively cheap. Anyone else feel the same way?
Summary: pretty colors but packaging is super flimsy so it’s not worth it

I bought a light pastel pink called “Chic” 563A. It is truly a beautiful color, peachy pink with a tad but of shimmer. The color is about all there is. The product has a strange chemical smell and a horrid taste, like you ate a glob of sunscreen. No staying power, and bleeds off on anything you touch. After wearing it, my lips turn into a flaky, peeling mess. Very disappointed, only cost me $3.25, but for $2 Wet N Wild makes much better quality cheap lipstick. I’ve been disappointed by NYX in everything I have purchased. Abandoning this brand for good.

I have this in Spellbound. It irritates me that it wears off so quickly, but what a stunning, wearable colour – and several of the colours in this line are novel and bright. Moisturising + doesn’t crease into fine lines.

Pretty packaging, and wide colour range with many beautiful shades. Slightly moisturising as well, really comfortable to wear on the lips as well. Price is also very reasonable.
However, it transfers alot and would not survive through meals or drinks. But with that said, reapplication is really easy and smooth. Would recommend for those people who don’t mind reapplying lipstick throughout the day.

I’ve had a few of these and none of them impressed me. The texture doesn’t look good on my lips, it wears off after a few hours. Just meh.

The color i am mostly referring to is Chaos.
My sister got me this color along with another one i cannot remember because i am an irresponsable teenager who lost her lipstick outside, but i love these lipsticks. Super pigmented and creamy plus great color selections. Chaos is a Nice bright red. To my liking, i wouldnt wear it everyday just because i am not a fan of bright red lips everyday because 1)im like 2 and still go to school so its pretty intense for everyday and 2)im not Taylor Swift. But for special ocassions or if you like bright red lips everyday then this color is perfect. Definitely would recommend. And i am definitely going to try out more colors.

The colour I’m referencing is “minimalism”.
I love this lipstick! It goes on smooth, even and is shaped in such a way that is easy to apply. Lives up to its name: extra creamy! This is the only nyx lipstick I’ve purchased and so far so good in my books. I’ve had it for a month and as it’s a lighter shade it’s suitable for your casual everyday wear, but can also be dressed up and look nice and classy. I usually tend to avoid lighter shades because I’m so pale and figure if I’m gonna wear lipstick I might as well make a red hot statement, but on a whim I bought this plum-y/pink-ish/mauve toned lipstick.
The only drawbacks are that the colour does transfer a tad onto my morning cup of coffee, and the intense creaminess annoys me particularly on warmer days (probably won’t wear this when it hits summer time in Australia!) but for AUD$8.95 from Priceline can one really go wrong?

I personally like the black tube showing the color in the bottom.
The quality of product is usually pretty nice there are a few dudes here n there.
I have found that the lipstick can break off at the bottom and come loose but I have just smashed it down and they have stayed in place with no issue it just does not look as pretty and can get along the sides of the tube, only inside not outside nor does it make a mess.
Most are creamy and somewhat moisturizing. None of the scents really bother me and I hardly notice, not a fan of them but I could careless either way.
Wear time is not the greatest but it is not a long wear claiming product so I didn’t expect it to me especially with how soft and creamy they are to begin with.
Most tend to leave a little color on the lips once the initial creamy color wears away.
Overall I am please and will continue to purchase these. For the price and no claim to be long wear I think it’s a good product for your money.

Picked these up over black Friday because black Friday sucks and I wanted a little pick me up. I got three colors, Pumpkin Pie, Orange Soda, and Doll Poupee.
Pros:
– Cheap.
– Creamy (bordering on greasy, actually.)
Cons:
-Variable consistency and opacity.
– STINKY!
– Tastes like soap.
I saw Pumpkin Pie on many people on the internet and thought, “That’s so pretty!” Which is what spurred me to try this brand’s lipstick. They’re all very affordable at $3~4 per tube. A little background: I have darkly pigmented natural lips but am in love with nude colors. One of the things that annoys me to no end is streakiness, which is very common if there’s a big shade difference between your lip color and the lip product. A good formula will overcome this problem, but it’s hard to find.
Of all the colors, Pumpkin Pie is the most greasy and least opaque. It’s nearly unwearable because it is so slippery that it collects in lines easily and the thinness and lack of opacity means that my natural lip color shows through. If I want to wear this I have to put WnW’s matte lipstick on underneath (903C is similar and my favorite) because that stuff stays in place like nobody’s business. Pumpkin Pie is also very hard to wear if your lips are at all chapped because, again, it slides around and collects readily around any flakiness on the mouth.
Orange soda is a much more yellow-nude color than Pumpkin Pie and is a lot more opaque. It also has a better, thicker consistency that is a little drier (by which I mean, less greasy.) This is more wearable for me although I doubt many people will like it as much as Pumpkin Pie because it sorta resembles concealer. Call me strange but I like it.
Doll Poupee is a medium rose-wine color that is a little dark on me, but is still a pretty color nonetheless. This color is the least greasy of the three lipsticks, and has a little less opacity than Orange Soda but you won’t notice because it is so much darker.
My final caveat here is that when you smell these in the air conditioned and much abused tester setup in the store, you might not detect any scent — I didn’t. In real life they stink like bathroom soap. Which is funny, because they also taste like bathroom soap (I mean, for real, like I licked a Dial bar.) I put them on my husband and he said that he doesn’t taste soap, but he was a longtime smoker so your mileage may vary. I looked up the ingredients and wasn’t surprised to find limonene in there. If you’re not familiar with limonene, it’s the scent they use in (ding ding) bathroom soap. So there you go, mystery solved. If you’re sensitive to scents (and tastes) definitely avoid(!) this brand.

I have several of these that I got years ago, and I don’t wear them much because they are TOO creamy. They slid all around my lips and it was smear city. Hated the formula but the colors were really nice and pigmented in one swipe. They also smelled weird.
I just recently picked one up at Target in the shade Chaos. It is a gorgeous blue based red, it is so classy and sophisticated looking. It’s the perfect retro pinup red, and makes my teeth look whiter.
It seemed to have a better formula this time, did they redo these lipsticks recently? It felt better, not as slimy/smeary as before. It went on creamy and after a while kind of dried down to a nice not-quite-matte finish that lasted for hours. I didn’t wear a lip liner and it stayed in place.
It still has that same weird scent, like floral soap. I would prefer it to be unscented or vanilla personally but for the color and price ($4) for a killer red shade like this I will overlook it.
