   Lovecraft is one of my favourite shades from KvD’s Everlasting Liquid Lipstick lines. It is a dusty mauve-pink shade. On me, it is a ‘my-lips-but-better’ colour. The formula is great, not too thick or too thin, just a nice workable texture. It doesn’t dry out my lips, though it can sink into some lip lines after a few hours. It doesn’t feather or bleed however. The staying power is also excellent! It wears all day, even through full-meals, and does not need reapplication. It doesn’t smudge through it the day either. Overall I love this colour and would definitely recommend and repurchase. A perfect everyday shade.

   I absolutely love this color – it’s an incredibly flattering nude
   Stays all day
   I love the matte texture

   Cons:
   Texture can bring out the dryness in your lips

   Overall
   5* – love the color and the flat, true matte look

   Color is sort of cool dusty rose, works very well with my fair skin. Awesome texture; feels a bit sticky for the first 15 minutes, then sort of sinks in. Stays on super well; stays on all work day and didn’t need to reapply even after 3 course meal with drinks.

   I wouldn’t buy it again because I always buy different products, or at least colors. I really like this hue, it works perfectly for daily and evening occasions. Also, I like the packaging, applicator and its lasting. Great product all in all!

   My favorite formula of any lipstick out there. It is minimally drying and comes in so many beautiful shades. I love that it is cruelty free and vegan as well. It lasts for hours and stays on through drinks and food. The formula is fairly creamy for a matte lipstick and creases minimally. I get the most complements on this particular lipstick.

   It didn’t really look great on my skin tone. I didn’t really feel like pairing it with the perfect lipliner to make it work.

   Currently the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lovecraft is only available in the Everlasting Obsession collection but it is rumored to be in plans for individual sale in the new year. I purchased this individually on Ebay from a seller who is breaking up their collection and selling the the liquid lipsticks individually, as I already owned to many to justify purchasing the vault.

   The GOOD… I really like the Kat Von D formulation; although, it is quite dry. The colour itself is quite beautiful. It looks like the love child of Lolita and Lovesick. The colour is closer to Lovesick initially but after time dries a lot darker and a little less pink. I honestly don’t know if all three are necessary and if I could go back in time I would have waited until it was released.

   The BAD… the colour is not truly opaque but to be fair neither are Lolita or Lovesick (although I have a GWP Lovesick that is more opaque).

   The Ugly… the colour because it is not opaqe does not go on even without work. This is a colour that with the right lip colour will be an easy go to but on the wrong lip colour will look a patchy mess.

   Bottom Line: Wait for it to be in stores. If you don’t like Kat Von D’s formula, this is not the best example of it!
