Love it. Hands down one of the best matte liquid lipsticks I’ve ever used, it is quick drying, lightweight, very matte, and budgeproof when set without being overly drying. That’s not to say it feels moisturising but as far as matte lipsticks go it’s quite comfortable. Like most matte lipsticks it works best on a well-prepped base – exfoliated and hydrated lips, otherwise it will stick to flakes.
In terms of finish, it has a filmlike “vinyl” matte texture when dry rather than powdery or velvet matte. Closest to it would be NYX’s matte Lip Lingerie line but much, more more lightweight. It’s very liquid and runny straight out the bottle but doesn’t seem to run or drip when applying with the doefoot applicator inside. However this does need time to set and before it’s finished there’s a window of (mis)opportunity where you could accidentally smudge it or wipe it. So either I blot, add 2nd coat, and blot again, or wait for 5mins or so before going near lips again. Once dry it is resistant to tears, sweat, sebum and puts up an admirable defence against food and drink. Even if I eat something, provided it’s not super oily/greasy, this will hold on tight for 7-8hours plus while I’m at work, needing minimal retouching throughout the day.
I got this originally in just one or two shades but loved the formula so much I pretty much have them all now. As with most Korean cosmetics, the official product photos can be a little too photoshopped so be sure to look for swatch images and videos online first before buying if you can’t test them in person. The relatively low price doesn’t hurt, either. I have nothing but praise for this lipstick.
