Pure Zen is a fabulous everyday peachy nude. I don’t usually like glossy lipsticks, but this formula seems to be the exception: it leaves your lips looking moist and plump rather than exceedingly shiny and sticky. I’ve tried other Cremesheens in the past and did not like them – so much so that I would actively avoid this finish – but Pure Zen performs really well. I only need one or two swipes for a polished, pretty, non-sticky look.
I’m a big fan of Kinda Sexy (Matte), and Pure Zen seems to be a slightly sheerer, glossier, and natural version of it, which is perfect for when I want a peachy nude that imparts good pigment but requires less maintenance. I usually wear my lipsticks on top of a red lip tint to give them an extra kick, which basically mimics more pigmented lips, and Pure Zen, despite not being completely opaque (Cremesheens are described by MAC as medium buildable coverage), still looks good on top of it.

Pure Zen is one of my favourite nude lipsticks. It is a warm toned peachy lipstick with pink undertones and a sheer, glossy finish. It makes my lips look healthy and full, and doesn’t wash me out. It doesn’t dry out my lips either, nor does it sink into lip lines, feather or bleed. It looks great for everyday wear, with minimal makeup and also compliments smokey eye looks very well. It suits my NC15 skin tone very well and I reach for this constantly. I like to wear this one to work as it makes me look polished, put together, natural and professional. It wears well on the lips but will need to be re-touched after eating a meal or drinking warm drinks. I get a lot of compliments on this lipstick and would definitely repurchase – I see myself actually finishing the whole tube!

Beautiful lipstick with a beautiful cup of deep, chocolatey blue shimmer. Perfect. To use a bit of a powder, but not overwhelming too much. Adds to give it a slightly almost blue shade. Has a peach or gray round to them. Needs to be re-touched.
Super smooth (bit slippery) and creamy (may be thick as it dries) low liquid formula (sodium edging and water). Bought from a local Hershey’s store as it’s a quick, easy way to make your own blush, however you don’t have to call at the Hershey’s Store in hopes of getting it back.
This lipstick was amazing for me at last week’s lip whitening day. It wasn’t even really pink when I applied it, but instantly when I put it on I got the notes of “Ohhhh!” and a burst of pink or green pigment in the fine line and surrounding areas. I immediately turned it over my lips. Now I get the perfect blue, yellow or yellowish color when using it on my lips, and it does finish well.
What an incredible opportunity! Nude super natural lipstick like this must love one day going into my favorite holiday season and truly look real in high heels and shadows! Shimmer on those open lips, with the natural color of such a really solid lipstick!
Beautiful high shimmer Matte Shimmer Lotion + Natural Lipsticks. I am still skeptical about most high poly lipsticks on this review. However this one did a pretty good job of blending my lipstick with gorgeous high shimmer Lotion + Natural Lipsticks in my test tube. Definitely a beautiful lip product that has both pure and intense yellows and yellows. The high shimmer Lotion + Natural Lipsticks itself is stunning. Great I couldn’t be more pleased with my purchase. My flat out surprised the sandals that were on, were pretty much flawless! They did work for me and I cannot say enough great things about the whole thing. plus these were very well made and nice to wear with your birthday or want some extra time in the shower so no need for a time out. I haven’t been a lingerie seeker yet but this would have been a very nice addition to my collection.
As a next time, can you try this nude pinkie or navy wedding pinkie? At first I thought it would be flattering and something to add to the ensemble. What I did see was a little bit of magic but as soon as I noticed it was the tight look and not much of a premium colorline, I went with the pink and finished it off with some layers of glitter on top. I never have to worry about freezing and wear a wedding pink just from a color life luscious necklace, especially if you are into natural colors.

This is a beautiful nude peachy pink shade but it’s so sheer. Within an hour, most of the colour is gone. I wish they made an amplified formula of this, could of been my HG lipstick.

This lipstick was actually the first MAC Lipstick I purchased back in ’13 and boy, was that a wonderful decision…
Creamy, smooth, pigmented, long lasting, and actually moisturizing?! I wouldn’t think twice about purchasing this lipstick again and again.
I love the color, it’s a gorgeous warm, peachy nude that goes with ANY and EVERY makeup look or outfit, day or night. A very healthy nude rather than a stark nude. I can see this working on cool, neutral, and warm undertones.
I love this lipstick, what more could you ask for? Amazing formula and color that lasts, feels uber comfortable and looks great no matter what. I’m kind of obsessed.

Very nice. The tube lasts a long time and it became my go-to nude lipstick. I doesn’t dry my lips.
EDIT: I realised that this is not the ideal nude for me and it makes my teeth look yellowish when they’re not. I ended up giving it to my mother-in-law.

The cremesheen formulation of this lipstick goes on velvety smooth and is extremely hydrating, but the color is very sheer. On my pale skin if I wear it alone, it barely even shows up, but l like to wear it over MAC’s Coral Bliss or my Too Faced longwear lipstick in Melted Peony. It is a lipstick, but wears and feels very much like a gloss.

This is a lovely peach nude. I wear this w the Carli Bybel BH Cosmetics palette. Looks gr8 w neutral e/s medium makeup but it can rock out a grey smoky eye too so very versatile! I love tan/peachy nudes, I am a neutral NC15 in winter at least, so yes fairly pale girls can wear this but I can also see it being beautiful on WOC too & I love Cremesheen formula. I’m kind of not liking the Mattes coz they are so drying yet Cremesheen is moisturizing & has that easy slip that makes your lips feel comfortable. I use MAC Stripdown l/l w this. I hafta say I’m kinda obsessed w MAC, it’s my fave lipsticks 4 sure & it’s what I mostly wear, amongst other products such a gr8 line. I love the simple elegant futuristic lipstick bullets also functional but when they gonna stop selling in China/stop animal testing. I do not like that part of the brand. ;/ but I love this lipstick soooo-o good I admit nudes are my fave but this 1 is special <3

So I’ve been wearing MAC Myth for about 6 years but I have been looking for something a little more natural. Also as much as I love matte finish lipsticks I do find them quite drying. When I went into MAC I was served by literally the most helpful girl ever- I can’t thank her enough! Anyway, she suggested I try Pure Zen and I was instantly put off when I saw it was a cremesheen finish because i hate the way anything shiny/sparkly looks on my lips, but I literally fell in love! It is such a subtle colour but it makes my lips look amazing! I have quite dark lips but this just made them look perfect. She also recommended using Oak liner for more dimension and it looks incredible! I’m so happy with my purchases I think this will be my new HG lipstick!!!
