I really love this shade. For reference I am medium fair with warm undertones. This shade is a fairly deep brown nude with a hint of red or pink for personality. It’s just a touch dramatic for daytime wear, in that it’s on the darker side for my complexion. It’s probably intended for darker complexions but on me it’s a throwback 90’s brown lip. It’s more or less a neutral that might work fine for cooler undertones too. The Creemsheen formula has a very appealing lip feel, full coverage and you know it’s there. But not overly heavy feel like Amplified finish from MAC. I like a nice medium weight lipstick, and in MAC my range is Lustre-Creemsheem-Satin.

This is my first MAC lipstick, and I LOVE it! I bought it online, during Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty. The color wasn’t exactly what I was expecting, I thought it was going to be more brownish toned. It’s got more of a pinky tone mixed in, I guess I would call it. But it’s just perfect! I rarely find a lipstick that I think “If I had to wear the same lipstick color everyday, this would be it.” But this is one. I think it’s neutral enough to wear with most anything. (For reference, I am fair-to light skinned, medium brown hair, with a pretty neutral undertone. I wear almost all warm colors, and don’t look too good in cool colors.) The formula is also great. It’s creamy, but not too much so that it slides off or feathers. It applies smoothly and easily. It wears well. I wouldn’t call it really long lasting, but it had a decent wear time. I like the simple, classic packaging, as well. I like the price I paid for it, (1/2 price), but I would definitely pay full price for this.

I bought a number of nude-ish MAC lipsticks to try out as I like muted lips but light tan lips are not good on me. You know how it is, too grey, too light, too brown, too purplish, etc.
So I tried Mocha, Velvet Teddy, and Creme in Your Coffee. Previously I had Mehr and Viva Glam II. I’ve always loved VG II but it can be a bit boring on my lips.
For me (fair-medium, cool toned, slightly pigmented lips) the Creme in Your Coffee was the best YLBB I’ve tried. Despite the name, it’s pinker than Velvet Teddy or VG II and the finish is Cremesheen so it has a bit of light reflection: matte is not great on me.
It’s more of a “YLBB” instead of a “nude” skin tone but it’s easy to wear. I used to wear Nars Dolce Vita all the time, then “Honey Tea” by Shiseido (dc) and this is my kind of every day, swipe-on and look natural.

What a great color. I was looking for a go-to everyday shade, after the last of my Soft Sell (a stellar discontinued Mac shade) ran out. A very patient salesperson let me line up Brave, Faux, Twig, Spirit, Mehr, and a few others (along with Capricious, which she threw in), along with CIYC and the latter won hands down. Others were too pink, or too orange, or to nude, or too blah, but this is just right. Very moist (though not too long lasting). I use with a Half Red lip liner (which was free with the lippie) and I’m good to go.

I bought this lipstick and I had never tried a creamsheen from mac before and I love it! It still gives great colour pay off. I am an nw15 and I was told the colour compliments my skin tone and it does!

I bought my first MAC lipstick ten years ago (a true red lipstick, I cannot remember the name) but despite the lovely color, could not wear it because it made my lips so dry they cracked after only a couple of minutes, although I think it is an allergy rather than just the dryness. I never bought another one until this Creme in Your Coffee, because the color is so beautiful. Unfortunately, the strong scent is really annoying and again, my lips cannot stand it. I think MAC lipsticks could pass for very cheap lipsticks if they were not packaged in the MAC one.
However, if your lips are not sensitive, get it as this is truly a lovely color, although it looks different depending your coloring. On my hand it looked a browny pink, but on my lips it looked more orangey.
I digress here, but the only great lipsticks I have ever bought are the different lipsticks by Clinique, which are now only sold in the US. Not even the high end lipsticks such as Chanel, YSL or Dior can match them, texture wise, in my opinion.

Best lipstick ever!!! I was using Maxfactor Colour Elixir lipsticks for years but I got really sick of the way they smelled so I decided to try MAC lipsticks instead. Not only do they smell lovely but they last longer and look more natural. I’m an NC37 so this shade matches the natural colour of my lips almost perfectly. Will definitely be a staple in my makeup bag!

This is my go to lipstick fall and winter. I am medium skin toned ,probably nc25-30. It is perfect for daytime wear and I get many compliments. If I want a little more color I go for Captive. In summer Peach Blossom is perfect

Too dark for my liking. Love the creme sheen finish mac lipsticks though but not the right shade for me
