I like pale, icy pinks. Back in junior high school, I actually wore them – not so much any more, or so I thought until this week. Anyway, this is one of the lipcolors I used to wear, so when I saw it at the dollar store recently, I couldn’t help myself. It’s not as extreme as I remember (probably because pale, icy pinks have gotten markedly paler, icier, and more popular in the ’00s), and it actually looks fine as long as I wear it sheerly. There’s nothing stand-out flattering about it on me, though, and I own so many similar shades that look better, smell better, or have better formulae. That’s what made me realize that I do still wear pale, icy pinks – I’m just a lot better at making them work than I was 20 years ago. That’s probably because of MUA. Thanks, MUA!

This lipstick is okay.. it’s not a long wear lipstick, it’s kind of like a light purple rather than a pink, so their title is a bit misleading and idk it’s just not that great of a lipstick, the color is alright, the texture is smooth and quite nice and the packaging is lovely but the color itself is mediocre..

CG Continuous Color is anything but. Iceblue Pink reminds me of my mom’s frosted pink lipstick when I was a kid. The only saving grace is that I can use it over another darker lipstick.

I wore this back in high school, when I was dumb, and didn’t have alot of money to toss around.
I still think to this day that the color itself is rather impressive (that’s why there’s the extra lippie), but I don’t like the fact that Cover Girl’s lipsticks never last – EVER!
There are alot better lipsticks out there than the ones that Cover Girl is selling.

I took one point off because this lipstick leaves a ring when it wears off…not attractive, but it’s such an awesome icy purple pink, I will forgive it. I started wearing this 6 years ago and will keep it in my makeup stash.

In the immortal words of Ghostface and Jadakiss: RUN!
No, seriously, especially all you GGGs, CCCs, and DDDs…No, actually everyone — run far away from this tempting lavenderish pink frost lipstick because it will turn your mouth into blue-pink frosted oblivion.
Sorry for the drama, but this was a (full-price, to hurt that much more) mistake for me. Remind me never to buy makeup on an empty stomach. What was I thinking?

I have been a fan of these pretty lipsticks for the ten years they have been on the market. I wouldn’t call them my HG of lipsticks, but I like them because they last fairly well and have a pretty and large range of colors, my favorites being Rose Quartz and this one. Iceblue pink has a slightly lilacky hue to it and I didn’t give this a 5, as I don’t believe that the color self-renews, as claimed on the package. However, if you want a decent and pretty line of lipsticks with a reasonable price, get this, you can’t lose.

Continuous Color Lipstick has been around for quite awhile and is an old standby for many of us. Cover Girl claims that this lipstick is “renewable” but I haven’t found this to be the case at all.
Continuous Color is a fairly creamy and moist lipstick; however, the moisture and color don’t last longer than an hour or two before it needs to be re-applied.
Iceblue Pink is a shimmery, light, very cool pink shade that looks great on my lips against my pale skin. This shade has a slight “Barbie” pinkness to it but luckily it’s slightly sheer so that your lips don’t actually look Barbie-ish!
I think that Cover Girl had this shade in a different formula in the 1980’s and that it was called “Blueberry Pink” but I’m not 100% sure.
