I’m on the fence about this one. I bought it at CVS with Extra Bucks, so I’ll be keeping it even though I’m not in love with it. I actually kind of like it, but it is not at all what was advertised. This was advertised as a glossy lip color stick, and even the picture on the display showed a glossy look. I bought it in Lacque-y You, which is a medium/dark rosy pink.
I like the color, and I like how it applies like a lip pencil instead of a lipstick or gloss. But, it is not glossy AT ALL. To me, it is completely matte. I even double checked to make sure I bought the La Lacque variety, because I know they make La Matte, too, and I thought I bought the wrong thing. Nope, I definitely have La Lacque.
It seems to wear for a long time. It’s got great pigmentation. It feels pretty drying to me though, and I end up putting a gloss over top of it because I can’t really stand how dry it feels on my lips. Also, it has a pretty strong smell and taste of roses or old lady perfume. I’ve read that this is common for L’oreal lipsticks. I don’t really like it, but it goes away pretty quickly so it’s not a deal breaker.
Overall, I’m happy enough with the color and the pigmentation that I’ll probably use this up, although I’ll be wearing a gloss over it all the time since it is not glossy at all itself and I don’t like the flavor or drying sensation. I won’t be repurchasing or buying any other colors, though.

I am all over the place on this..First off, it has great pigmentation, there is no denying that! I got this in the re-released version (I guess it was originally out for a mere few months, back in 2013 or 2014..?) in this spring/summer of 2015. I picked up a couple of shades, both highly pigmented and rather long-lasting. The only drawback (for me) is I have to be careful when applying these, as it is real easy to have it go outside of my natural lip line (especially on the bottom lip) and once it does, it is hard to get the color removed completely, bc it stains–fast!!!
These are also rather drying. They also have the Matte version (which I also picked up, and yes, drying).
The color selection is decent (although it would be nice if they had more shades). Do I think the average girl needs them, or would I recommend them..? No. But they are still a nice product if you can get the hang of them and you might need to use a balm underneath them. These last on me a good 4 hours, and then they leave a stain.

I think this product was too good for public consumption because it was pulled from the shelves almost as soon as it appeared. I found #413 marked down in a sketchy makeup bin at biglots. It seemed like a sign, as I had passed it up four months ago when target was clearing house.
This is long lasting, heavily pigmented lipstick in a slender tube for precise application. It has the same lovely, vintage-y face powder smell that all of loreal’s flagship lipsticks have. Debating going back to big lots and stocking up.
EDIT: This reappeared in new shades over the last few months. It’s been reformulated and not for the better. I bought choco-laque hoping for a mid neutral brown, but it’s DARK on my skin. It looks nice, just not what I was hoping for. This is really more of a satin finish lipstick than a lacquer. It’s also a very thick formula that tugs on my my lips, is a little drying and doesn’t last. Le Sigh.

I have shade #411 Never Laque-ink the shade is a medium to dark pink with warm tones. I didn’t find this to be too shiny like a true gloss, but a nice hybrid between a lipstick and a gloss. I really like the product itself is compact, which makes for easy precise application. easily one of the most pigmented lip colors I have used, no need to layer this on.

I own the red one from this collection. I like it but I love the matte collection way more. I hate the smell but I can overlook it. The color is beautiful! The shine is amazing! And the price is fair. I love loreal!

I have 2 of these one matte and one shine. The shine I have is laquer ized. It’s cool toned fuchsia color. It’s Very bright and more purple tone then cyy. I am mostly a straight matte lip girl and this is def a shine..like I’m not sure of a lipstick I’ve owned that was as skinny on its own w no gloss. It’s extremely pigmented, it actually reminds me of the pigmentation like the lip tara of rimmel apocalypse Lippies..only in a stick formula. The color reminds me of mac petals and peacocks. There is a smell but not one that bothers me. It’s so pigmented and shiny that it will smear easy.

I I have a love/hate relationship with this product. The pigmentation is nice, the product is easy to apply, and I like how it is so glossy. It feels like a one-step product. While I think the formula is smooth and creamy, but I don’t find that it wears well on the lips. And, oh boy– the smell! When you first put it on the lips, you’re punched in the face with the scent of baby powder. The product also has a disgusting flavor to match, and it takes at least twenty minutes before I notice the taste fading. It isn’t a fruity or minty flavor, it tastes like fragrance. If you have issues with strongly scented product, you might want to avoid this.

I had a devil of a time finding these as well; hit pay dirt at one Rite Aid after stalking a number of stores. I got 414, which was the shade featured in the display ad. This is most similar to MAC So Chaud to me, but of course a lighter formulation. The one thing I didn’t care for was the scent associated with CR lipsticks, but I can overlook that for the color and ease of application. I prefer a matte finish, but thankfully this is not overly shiny and can be blotted down. The mattes didn’t have any shades flattering to my complexion, so lacque it was. I found it wears well and didn’t transfer on my teeth. For reference I am warm toned, red haired, freckled with green eyes; I am around NC 25. I gravitate towards orange reds and corals, and this us a very nice shade for the price.

These are ah-mazing!
The La Laque’s are the shiny, glossy counterpart to the Le Matte’s; both are limited edition and in selected stores. Finally, found them at my second Target for $7.99. Packaging-wise, not bad – they’re in slightly thin, plastic tubes that twist up for more product, which is always good for travel. The tip of the lipstick isn’t necessarily pointed, but both sides are flattened, making it easy to line the lips. The actual product is creamy, moisturizing, shiny, and super opaque with just one coat. They don’t feather or bleed (so, no need for a lip liner) and wear for a good few hours, as well as fading to a really nice stain. I got the color “Lacquer-ized,” which is lilac-y fuchsia. It’s kinda like a bright pastel – if that makes any sense.
The only con is that they’re slightly sticky and rub off/transfer easily. But, other than that, I’m in love.

Wow! These were hard to track down (went to 3 different Targets), but boy were they worth it! I purchased #411 Never Lacque-ing (nude) & #412 Lacquer-ized (bright violet). The formula is amazing! Feels very creamy on the lips and you are left with a nice, glossy opaque finish. I hope they make these permanent and make more shades because I love this formula!
