This is by far the best red lipstick I have ever used. The color is just perfect for my fair/neutral skin tone, it literally lasts FOREVER both in the tube and on the lips, and the price is fantastic. It can be a bit drying so a good scrub and lip balm is a must. It also can wear a bit in the middle after several hours so I use the revlon lip pencil to line and color in. I wore this combo on my wedding day and never retouched through dinner or the wedding night. Totally kiss proof and woke up still wearing it. 😉 great stuff and I will throw a major tantrum if it gets discontinued.

I LOVE this lipstick, great color you can make it a bit darker too by layering (but does get pretty sticky the more layers) the best thing about this product is its longevity, it lasts all night. I recently bought limecrime’s velvetine in red velvet as I lost my top tomato. But although the color was great I had to reapply all the time. and it’s like $8 instead of $24, you can’t really go wrong.

Gorgeous red color. great for night out wear. but also I gave been using it in the daytime lately as a stain. beautiful that way and lasts just as long. I use it on the inner part of my lips and it looks very natural with a lighter color like iconic iris along the edges of my lips. just gives the perfect pop of color.

I bought this a couple days ago at target for a little less than ten bucks.
I wanted a red lip color because i was trying to recreate Miley Cyrus’s look, considering I got her haircut with the bangs in the front last month (LOVE IT BY THE WAY)
I came across this and let me just say, you will get sooo many compliments if you have the right skin tone for this- looks like cool tones will look better with this color.
It also makes your teeth look whiter (obvi a +)
It is a little weird at first when you find out it dries but the consistency isnt annoying in my opinion.
Also IT LASTS FOR EVEEEEERRR. I put it on yesterday morning. After that I had a full day of shopping, going out to eat, and going to the movies. It lasted the whole time!!! I did re apply before we went into the movie but I could have gone without it.
The packaging is sleek and looks professional.
I did see glitter in the product tube, so I assumed it would have glitter or a slightly dewy finish. NOPE- don’t worry all anti-glitter gals when I put this on absolutely no sparkles (yay)
And the only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because
1. It’s a little expensive but for the amount of product inside I say it’s worth it
2. The applicator doesn’t help with fixing messed up lines so it is a bit hard to get the “perfect lip shape” but dabbing with your fingers and blending helps 🙂

The liquid lipsticks are interesting. After you put it on, you should not put your lips together for a few minutes or they will stick together. It has to dry first. I usually fan it a bit with my hands to speed up drying. Even after that, it’s still somewhat tacky, but I’ve grown used to it. It has shimmers in it, which you can see close up. You can’t feel them though. Color does lighten after it’s been on your lips for a little while. You must blend it fully before it dries or dot in on in places where it’s uneven.
Believe it or not, after all I’ve said, I still like the revlon liquid lipsticks. I have 4 of them. I like the color payoff and it does last a long time. As far as the 24 hr thing, who wants their makeup to last that long anyway?

This lipstick just did not cut it. I’m a waitress and I decided to try it out on the job — which is the entire reason I bought it. I don’t eat during my workshift but I do talk a lot and thus tend to drink water out of paper cups when I have a minute. About 2 hours into my shift the lipstick had already faded and left a noticeable ring of color around my lips. I admit, that because it tends to be a little uncomfortable because of the drying I had a hard time trying not to lick my lips, but I thought I kept it to a minimum. Overall, it’s uncomfortable and doesn’t work. I was excited because it was a one-step long lasting lipstick but it clearly doesn’t do the job. What a waste of cash!

I do like this stuff..especially in this color. but the applicator is just..horrible. i mean really bad! its so messy and impossible to get fine lines with this. and you definitly cant wear this stuff without a balm or gloss on top (i prefer balm to gloss although gloss looks better) because it is so sticky and.. weird feeling. it comes out and amazing vibrant color and lasts for HOURS! but its not really something i’d wear all the time and its kinda pricy. good thing a little goes a long way with this stuff. i would buy again when i knew i was going to need a long lasting lip color but..unless something like that comes up i think i’ll just stick to something not so expensive. (about 8 bucks a tube)

Whenever I’ve seen Revlon products 40%, I’ve always considered picking this one up, but passed for whatever reason. I have a few other colors from this line and have been happy with their wear. I happened to be at Walgreens and this color was half-off, so I decided to pick it up. It’s a neutral red with some sparkly bits here and there (and the reason I took the rating down to 4). I don’t think the sparkles are really necessary. This would be fine matte red by itself. You do need to be careful with the applicator, as a reviewer below mentions. I find it can give a nice “stain” appearance if applied carefully. I hope they’re not discontinuing this color, or if they are, they’re coming up with a new one without the sparkle.

Gorgeous, long lasting red. Damn near perfect on my NC20/NC25 skin. It lasts through meals, through the work day, through the evening. Even then, removing it can be difficult.
Tip: Don’t disturb it before its dry..otherwise it’ll turn into an uneven, hot mess.
The applicator sucks. Most gloss wands have a top which removes the majority of product before its pulled out. This lacks it, so you’re left with an overabundance. Do not use the applicator to apply. Use a lip brush…you’ll be glad you did.
