Color: Great, a clear, natural pink without any weird undertones.
Staying power: Excellent
Cons: It is drying, as all lip colors in this genre are.
Competing Colors:
The base shades in this formula are Silver III and Gold III, both are very different shades from each other. Gold III is light, rich and complex.
Light Gold is matte, dimmer and more akin to the darker of orange than the lighter of blue. It only smells like hot coals that present in ‘Purple’.
Yellow is berryy and vaguely citrusy with a very nice hint of tartness.
Yellow compliments smooth sandalwood and musk, while Red weathered that appearance.
Tart is a complex, woody plum but becomes quite muted at times.
This little shade is perfect for flattering ‘Main and ‘Extra’ blush and getting a great brown finish.
There are three standard complementary colors. Rose Red is a neutral color, while Yellow is a stronger neutral shade.
For this base shade you will have to pair with the MAC Tattoo Black. This is a semi-glossy shimmer, while also offering the ‘White Man’s/Scarlett’ shimmery finish.
Here is a written review for this palette as well as available pictures:
I would give this lip liner a 5 out of 5 at the most.

I’d like to put maybe for whether I would rebuy this product or not. I quite like the colour, it’s a very natural looking dark pink lipstain, but it does dry my lips out somewhat. When it comes to long wearing lip products, I’m never sure if the tradeoff between long wear and dry lips is worth it. The other thing I don’t like about long wearing lip products is they normally make yoru lips look smaller, or at the very least they certainly don’t make your lips look fuller. Older women with thinning lips might think this is a good option because it means they won’t get bleeding in lip lines and don’t have to use lipliner. However I think if you have problems with lip line bleeding and shrinking lips, you’re better off learning to use liner to define and seal your lips to give good shape and long wear, then topping with a matching toned lipstick.
Anyway that’s my rant for the day.
Nice colour, more of a stain than a lipstick, long wearing but somewhat drying.

I honestly LOVE this lipstain. It is a little drying but that’s why it’s COLORSTAY, most lip products that claim to be long lasting will probably be drying. But that doesn’t matter, I swipe a clear lipgloss usually solves the problem for me. I will be buying these So much more in the future.
