I was on the fence for a long time on this shade — the bright warm red appealed to me but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to spend $10. Then I spotted it on clearance at CVS, and for $5, I thought, why not.
I have to say, had I bought this full price I would not have been disappointed. It’s a beautiful bright medium warm red. It applies shiny and while I prefer matte formulas normally I still really love this despite the shine. It’s a more pigmented color, but still feels light and moisturizing, so it looks really pretty on the lips. It’s not long lasting, but it wears evenly. I’d put it on before doing some housework and got really sweaty on a project, and later on I saw myself in the mirror and some of the shine and color had worn off but I still had a decent amount of tint and it was even and still felt good. I was pleasantly surprised.
There’s no strong scent or flavor here, either. It’s just a really nice color and formula.

This product was a gift from a friend. I got the color paprika, which is a really pretty medium red. My first impressions were that the packaging is pretty and simple. I like that you can see the color of the lipstick on the bottom of the tube. The product itself went on really smoothly on the lips! It felt awesome! Unfortunately, it has no lasting power. It does not last long on the lips and if you even touch your lips by accident, it completely wipes off!
For the $10 it costs, it is not worth it. You can find much better lipsticks for half the price at walmart or target.

This is a semi-matte, non drying warm red that does not pull pink or coral on me. I have a lot of trouble finding reds that can work for me. This is one of them. It is not long-lasting. I cannot detect any scent or taste. I don’t mind reapplying as the color is flattering to my light olive complexion. I think the shades in this collection are well suited to olive skin or darker skin. I really like the packaging as you can see the color from the bottom. I store it upside down so I can easily pull it out from my sea of black cased lipsticks. The case also has a solid feel to it for a drugstore lipstick. I would rebuy it if I lost or misplaced it as it fills a void in my collection.

This is a flattering warm red that is not matte. For some reason I thought it was matte. It wore off pretty fast but left a slight tint for a few hours. I like the subtle vanilla scent. This is $9.99 at CVS, but I had a 25% off coupon and got $3 ECBs back. I would not pay ten bucks for this.

I really liked this lipstick because it had great pigment, creamy moisturizing consistency, and slight gloss sheen. I sometimes use it lightly as a stain and it makes my lips look naturally pretty. I have darker lips and medium olive golden skin color so it goes well with my complexion. The package was not as great quality however, because the inner lip color broke apart from the outer package. Other than that, no complaints.

I bought this color on an impulse, and was pleasantly surprised. It has a very creamy moisturizing texture, no bad/weird smell that alot of drugstore lip stuff has, and GREAT color pay off! The color is so vivid that i usually apply it very light as a stain to tone it down a bit, but it is beautiful as is. I have light skin with warm/golden undertones and dark red violet (dye) hair with brown eyes. I guess it goes with my coloring, because i got alot of compliments on this color. This and “My favorite”(which is a dupe for my old fav Kat von D’s lipstick in “Lolita) are worth checking out.

Again an aptly named color. Paprika is a beautiful dark warm red. I absolutely loved this color. However, it was too dark for my skin tone (LOLA-light/medium olive). It would work probably work for me in the summer when I get much darker. I gave it to my mom and since she’s naturally darker than me, it looks great on her. The formula was creamy, went on smoothly and felt like department store quality makeup. The color did last a good while. This is a perfect red for those with a nice dark tan or a medium/dark olive skin tone.
