I really like Milani’s Matte lipsticks, but wanted to give this pearl finish a try. These are about $6.50 at the drugstore, but often on sale. Dulce Caramelo is definitely more moisture laden than the mattes, so it doesn’t last long at all. A good amount of transfer especially when you drink hot beverages. But still it’s a lovely neutral shade that is perfect for the office or for when you want the focus to be more on your eyes. It feels nice on the lips and if you don’t mind reapplying it more frequently, it’s worth the purchase.

This is a really pretty pinky nude with slight pearly shimmer. Not quite “Frost” level, but really nice and subtle. The formula of the lipsticks in this line is amazing and this one is no exception. I don’t wear a lot of light lipstick shades, I’m more of a bold lip person. This light nude is one of the few I’ve tried that I like on me.

I really like this lipstick, it flatters me very well. Nude pinky brown shade, slightly shimmery. I have never owned a lipstick like this before and am pleasantly surprised how much I like it. Feels great on lips, not drying, and stays on for about 3-4 hours on me.
I like the watermelon scent too and the packaging is nice and sturdy.

I think the full name for this shade is “Dulce Caramelo”. And how sweet it is! I love this shade for days when I want a subtle, yet sleek lip. It’s a pretty, medium brownish nude with warm pink undertones and a light golden sheen. The pearl in it doesn’t look 80’s or tacky; on the contrary, it instead provides a gorgeous, almost plush look to the lips, catching the light in a very flattering way.
The formula on this whole range is consistently good. It’s thicker and stays on really well without being drying. It’s not particularly moisturizing, but honestly, most lipsticks that actually last for a while won’t be hydrating, especially at a drugstore price point.
The packaging is attractive and sturdy, though prone to fingerprints. Either way, it closes securely so I don’t feel hesitant to toss this in my bag, and usually keep it there all the time. The little swatch at the bottom is remarkably true to color, and it’s not a sticker so you’ll always know which shade to get when it comes time to replace it.
I pay under $5 for these at Walmart, and to me, that’s almost like I’m stealing from the store! These lipsticks are of such good quality, and this shade is so versatile and beautiful that they could charge $15 and I’d still buy it.
As to whether I’d repurchase, I already have and will continue to.
On a side note, NARS came out with a lipstick in the iconic Orgasm shade and I wanted to try it until they decided to no longer remain cruelty-free. I feel as though this shade may yield similar results on the lips, and Milani is a staunchly cruelty-free brand. How is it that drugstore brands are more unwavering in their ethics than high-end? Either way, if you were in the market for the Orgasm lipstick but would rather find something inexpensive that isn’t animal tested, go with Dulce Caramelo instead!

I wanted a flattering brown for fall. I don’t usually wear brown because I experienced it in the 90’s and didn’t like the frost type colors.(Beware of similar looking shades by Cover Girl because these have lots of micro white glitter=frost.) This color however I love. It is a brownish pink with micro gold flecks. It lasts several hours (3+) on me. I like that it feels like you aren’t wearing anything at all. It isn’t moisturizing, nor is it drying.
The ingredients include natural oils and I didn’t see anything too scary. The smell is a fruity one, but not off-putting to me. That maybe due in part to the vanillin which is a vanilla substitute used in vanilla coffees ect. (There is also fragrance.) I recommend smelling it before buying to see if it bothers you.

This is going to be my new go to Fall lipstick. I am usually not a big fan of pearl finishes but this one for some reason makes my face glow. It has a subtle glitter but the pigmentation is just perfect, not too brown and not too red.
To anyone who’s complaining about how this product tugs and dries your lips. This is not a lip balm it’s a lipstick. Exfoliate your lips and put a good lip balm at night so you wouldn’t have any problems applying any type of lipstick.
Finally, I love the cucumber smell.
To me, this is a worthy investment. Hope this helps!

I also agree with the reviewer below me. I do not understand how people enjoy this product… I am convinced they write the reviews the first time they wear this product, and get excited about the look rather than the quality.
This is VERY drying, tugs on lips, settles into fine lines, and gritty. It actually stings my lips when I apply it. Makes my lips look small, and I don’t have small lips. The colour is alright, nothing spectacular. Huge dud for me… ew the smell

I am going to be the only one review who do not like this color on my lips. When Walmart and CVS dumped New York Color and the only Kmart near me has supply problems, I turned to Milani at Walmart to find my Creamy Caramel dupe. This color in the tube looked exactly like Creamy Caramel. And it is a total disappointment. It morphes into a light frosty brown that magnifies every line in my lips. I got no pink. And it is dry. Not creamy at all and slightly gritty. Strange, because I have other Milani lippies that do not apply like that. Not buying this color again.

Oh so good! When I bought this color I didn’t realize it has a SLIGHT pearl to it but it makes it so glowy and diffused. It’s just beautiful. If I were going to describe it, I would say it’s a slightly pink soft light brown…I don’t know what else to say. I could have any lipstick I wanted but Milani has my heart. ❤️

Just picked this up today and put it on in the car. Nice nude/pink/light frost combo. It almost matches my lip color but has a bit of gold sparkle. So far, it’s stayed on well, though it’s a little dry on my lips. The next color down was too light and pink. Two shades up was too pink by a mile. If you’re looking for a nude/pink color that gives you a bit of cover without being too overt, this is pretty.
Dark hair, light olive complexion, light natural pink to lips.
