This is THE pink I’ve been looking for!!! So beautiful! I was having such a hard time finding this type of shade. Not too purple, not too Barbie, not too “dusty rose”. Incredibly flattering! Nice formula, great scent, wears well.

I love this colour so much, it’s similar to plumrose but it’s not as deep and on the pinkier side. Smells delicious, pretty long lasting for the price, feels moisturizing and light enough on the lips, sometimes I even forget I’m wearing it because it feels like Lip balm. My favourite drugstore brand for lipstick! They surpass many higher end brands in my opinion.

Okay, what is the deal here? I found this shade (Blushing Beauty) in the Milani Color Statement line at CVS this morning, but cannot find evidence of its existence anywhere online. Milani’s website is horrendously out of date, and no drugstores are listing this color at all. Have I been dreaming this shade all day? I wouldn’t put that past myself.
This color is lovely. It’s brighter than most neutral pinks (say, Milani’s Pretty Natural from the same range), but it leans warm enough that it doesn’t look like a Barbie pink. In fact, I’d say this has more coral undertones than anything. It’s really gorgeous.
The finish of this lipstick is almost gel-like. It’s not sheer, but almost comes off looking sheer when worn, which is kind of cool because it creates a very pretty finish that most pigmented lipsticks cannot achieve. It’s not glossy and not matte. It’s right in between, but I wouldn’t call it creamy either. Very strange, but in a good way.
It’s hydrating, but not extraordinarily so, and when it finally does wear off (after a few hours, mind you), it leaves a very pretty stain.
The smell is different from the Color Statement range that I remember. Previously, I found this range to have a very watermelon candy scent, but this smells more like their Brilliant Shine lip gloss, which smells like delicious baked goods. The scent fades over time, but those sensitive to (or grossed out by) fragranced lipsticks may want to steer clear.
The packaging is shiny gold with a true-to-color swatch, just like the rest of the CS range.
For about $6, you really cannot go wrong with this shade. It’s a beautiful neutral pink for the warmer months that gives you a pretty, brighter pop of color without going full-on neon, and for that, I give it two thumbs up!
