I have this in a mid-orange called Posh Puppy. I do like the color a lot, but this is a pretty small lipstick, and even after a year, I’m not through it. Why? Well. Even though it’s decent at moisturizing, nice texture and has a good color, it – just like many other lipsticks from Max Factor – has a very weird, melted plastic smell. When I breathe in through my mouth, it also tastes burnt plastic. Very nasty and also makes it seem like something I shouldn’t be applying to any part of my body at all. I really don’t like the look of the packaging either: it looks so cheap! The taupe gold (the cheap color of gold, not like in their promo pictures) combined with the plastic is just not aesthetically pleasing at all, and gets scratches easily. Looks like something that belongs in the Dollar Store. Had I pulled off the cheap-looking sticker with the color name, I would also not have known what this product is called – not very effective marketing IMO.
Will try to finish this, but no way I’m re-purchaing, and would not recommend, unless you’re fine with lip products that smell burnt plastic.
