It’s a 100% dupe for Pat McGrath McMenamy. But would it count as a dupe if it was made first? Sorry to sound like a hipster but I’ve been using this lipstick for 3 years and counting with no intention of ever stopping. God I hope I don’t regret this later (usually my curse is once I share, they get discontinued T.T)…this is a bombastic secret of mine and it has been for years. I consider this the sexiest shade of lipstick I’ve come across. It makes me look like the demonic version of myself, in the best of ways. My eyes look surreal, my lips lush, my skin incandescent and even my hair makes sense. Whenever I wear it people ask, all of the time, consistently. I’ve felt very greedy for the longest time for not sharing it with this community. But I’m making good on it now! ;D
How this shade or company not more popular I don’t know. Maybe because the line isn’t high end or strictly found online. This is a thing of beauty! The perfect dark mahogany shade. Think Batman The Animated Series level of sophistication (the artwork of Bruce Timm for that series is stunning). Just so rich, striking, complex and elegant. You will feel and look like a badass if you can pull it off. So many people that I’ve gifted this to give me “shade” because they think I’m lying or that I’ve given them the wrong color because it doesn’t sit as great on them as it does on me. It is a leaning cool, rich, browned berry red that oozes sex appeal and pizzazz. It somehow encompasses the feeling of it being fashion forward, edgy, mysterious, debonair and sexy. Think of a Sade song. It applies medium intense and it can be built up on or made into a stain…looks amazing regardless and it doesn’t lose character. On top of being unique, the color looks luxe and expensive. Ironically the product is found at your local CVS (mine carries the Makeup Academy line) for about $7.00. Oh and it looks delightful as a cream blush. For the cool toned dark ladies, especially Winters, I urge you to try this if you’re not afraid of the dark. This is marvelously wicked. For the fair, I think this would be lovely too. I think very Michelle Williams for Louis Vuitton.
