I really like this lip pencil/ balm(?). It’s goes on smoothly, feels moisturizing (that was a surprise), and the two colors I’ve tried are really pretty.
I found these at the Dollar store; my dollar store carries some E.L.F products so I always check the makeup area to see what’s new. I bought this first in Nude; didn’t expect much but was on my way to the gym with naked lips so thought it was worth a shot.
What a great surprise! LOVE the texture- it’s not at all like many inexpensive lip products, feels great on with beautiful slightly sheer coverage. The downside is it doesn’t have much staying power. Maybe 2-3 hrs.
I went back and purchased a true pink also (the shade name is on the package only so I don’t have the exact name). I like this one as well- it’s less sheer , VERY pinky-nude , love it

Once again, cheap makeup has changed my mind! I found my HG lip balm. I know these are old, but I just discovered them. Happened to be buying a few travel necessities at a Dollar Store and saw these at the check out.
For $1.50 I got the Chunky Pencil (really a twist up stick that looks like a pencil) in Coco. It covers more like a sheer lipstick, even a tinted balm feel. It smells like old fashioned cocobutter, which is nice. Nothing fancy. You may ask why it is HG but only got four lippies? Because the color fades fast. The moisturizing stays, but the color fades.
Now for what makes it so special: The name of the color is Coco. It resembles nothing brown! I was surprised to see the name, since I didn’t look before I bought it. It is the exact deep neutral mauve of my natural lip color, making it the most flattering of all lip shades I have ever bought. I have a very fair complexion with neutral undertones and blue eyes. I wear it with just mascara and have a perfect natural look. Lights up my face.
I ADORE this color, and bought a few extras, because cheap makeup brands always discontinue products at a moment’s notice. Truly a little gem.

I bought the shades wine and terra-cotta. I don’t really like it that much but I don’t hate it either. It is a creamy pencil and it glides on nicely, But if I do not hydrate my lips beforehand, It will go over my dryness and chappiness and it will look bad. It is so creamy and I think that’s why it doesn’t last well on my lips. I also do not like the smell it makes me nauseous and that’s why I don’t wear it that often. I got it for two dollars and it is a good value but I don’t like this, I like the chunky lip pencils better , the lip liners. The packaging is fine, but I drop my make up a lot and whenever I drop this, the plastic lid comes off which annoys me, But it’s not a huge problem. Usually my reviews are pretty long but I really don’t have much to say about this. It’s OK if the scent was better and it wouldn’t emphasize my dryness I’d probably like it. I would advise doing research and reading more reviews to see if you want to purchase this product because other people seem to like it.

I bought this lip pencil in the color Cocoa. I find it to be a better than average lipstick for a lot of reasons. This cost me just $2 at Family Dollar so that was a steal! It goes on light and creamy with just one application needed for full coverage, and stays on me for up to 3 hours. Even after it wears off there’s still a slight stain that looks nice so that I’m not left with bare lips. On me, this color appears to have a little bit of mauve mixed in with the cocoa and I love it!! I also like that the pencil is retractable and never needs sharpened. This does not look or feel dry, however it isn’t waxy or greasy either! The smell is very light and a little like cocoa butter. Great price…awesome product. I’m gonna try more colors and will review them as well.

Not the worst and not the best.. I got this in the color “terra cotta” for $2 at family dollar. The color is a nice summery color and I love the scent of it. It feels very moisturizing, but I feel like it shows any and all chapping on my lips, and even just the natural creases on my lips look more highlighted than I would like.. I like that it fades off nicely so that if I put it on in the morning, then wear it to work I don’t end up with a nasty ring around my lips. It doesn’t last very long, but I’m okay with that. Lid doesn’t stay on very tight, I would be worried to just throw this in my purse or pocket.

A SERIOUSLY great lip pencil!
It glides on so smoothly, the colour is beautiful ( mine is in the colour wine), very very affordable, and lasts on your lips super long!
Can’t wait to buy more colours!

I bought this on sale since it was pretty cheap, so why not try it out? Honestly, didn’t expect anything good because LA colors did not seem to have good makeup products. However, it surpassed my expectations and to me, it’s actually better than some other more expensive and well known brands! Color is good and it lasts pretty long 🙂 not drying either!

. They go on very creamy, then dry matte. They don’t bleed much, and the pigment stays on a very fairly long time (it was there even after a shower)..My only complaint would be the cap comes off easily. I put a small rubberband around the opening to grab and tighten the cap..They’re great for the price..

I just bought this yesterday in the shade Deep Red and while the color is very pretty and it does stay on a few hours,it feels too oily and thin. It’s not a balm stain though,it’s supposed to be a creamy lipstick in a crayon.

I purchased 2 of these lip pencils a while back, and I love them! The best MLBB shade in this collection is the shade Warm Caramel, which is a gorgeous pink-brown. I wear it most days to work and it smells like coconuts! I also purchased a sort of neutral whitened-pink shade that pairs well with some of my glosses. I find that the only complaint I have is the part of the packaging covering the twist-up mechanism on the bottom can come off. It will still work without it, but obviously its not super nice looking if it does come off.
Still, you get what you pay for, the product itself is *great* and the price is pretty well unbeatable (seriously, why are lip pencils so expensive comparatively?)
Overall, I’d repurchase the ones that I bought and maybe try out some of the others available in the future.
