The Holy Grail. Most lipsticks turn pink on me, but this is perfect: a warm brick red which adds a pop of color without being overdone plus a sheer, moisturizing texture without irritating flavor or fragrance, all packaged in a one-swipe-and-go crayon. It’s an amped-up version of my own natural color, only better. I’m so pleased with this lipstick I could eat it. If Clinique will continue to produce it, I’ll buy it for decades.

I got a full-size of Chubby Stick Intense free with my purchase of makeup remover online. Chunkiest Chili seemed like the best shade for my (very warm and light) complexion. Don’t let the dark red color of the tube scare you off!
First of all, it’s sheer— even though it’s called Intense. Second, this is NOT a harsh or dark shade by any means. It’s a wearable, soft, warm red-brown with some very faint beige shimmer. Kind of a gingerbread or light brick color. I love it!
Chubby Sticks are fun and convenient to use. Don’t expect super long-wear, but the Intense versions stay pretty solid for 3 hours and fade evenly into a soft stain.

Great as all Chubby Sticks. Quite subtle and easy to wear for such a dark red. Does smudge quite easily though but that’s to be expected from a colour balm.
