Love this lipstick from Nyx! The shade is gorgeous – it was formerly called ‘The Big Cherry’ when I bought it and has been renamed ‘ Firebrick’. The colour is a gorgeous shade of red- it is a cool based red with a slightly pink undertone & is very well pigmented. The texture is amazing and surprisingly stays on long without bleeding / feathering or drying; the texture is moisturizing but does not feel heavy or tacky. That said, the quality is amazing ; price is too @ 8.99; this lipstick is just as good as a department store quality one , only thing that stands out is the basic packaging but it’s ok lol the product itself rocks! I bought it on sale for $4.99 for back up use and when I tried the lipstick it exceeded my expectations. Love the cool based red tone , texture & staying power…another drugstore gem😃 . Will r/p. 5 lippies. **UPDATE/EDIT** : Sadly this line of l/s from Nyx has been d/c’ d☹ …luckily I have almost half a tube left but there is another, albeit more $$ dupe from Shiseido rouge gel based l/s in ” Poppy” which is also a cool based red… Way before this whole covid-19, I only tried this l/s as a tester on my hand and it was almost exactky like Nyx Big Cherry/ Firebrick. As mentioned in my other posts if you are looking for a cool based red for cool/ neutral skin tones, this is pretty good along with Mac Ruby Woo…havent bought cosmetics lately have been housebound but just wanted to share since the use testers ( quite rightly so) for perfumes & cosmetics have been banned in drugstores and online it is sometimes hard to determine colours/ shades due to lighting etc. Hope all of you are staying safe and practicing social distancing…xx
