These have been reformulated and relaunched in February 2018 and this review is for the new formula. I`ve been wearing RO650, which is a mauve, rosey color and PK855, a muted, warm pink. Both are a really wonderful, creamy, satin formula with good pigmentation. I prefer applying them with a lip brush, because my lips are rather thin and it`s hard to apply this and most other lipsticks that are moisturizing. It`s not particularly long lasting: it comes off easily after a drink or a meal. The formula doesn`t settle into lines and is shiny without being gloopy, so it makes lips look slightly bigger. A bit pricey, but it`s a nice lipstick and if you buy it in Japan it`s not as expensive as overseas.

I bought one red lipstick from the Winter 2005 collection. First time i tried using such a high end expensive lipstick. it costs SGD $95 and yet before i have reached the end of the tube, i am tempted to stock up. it glides on nicely and has shimmers which is not overwhelming. (i actually hate shimmers and tend to use matte lipsticks but its been too drying on my lips!) i hope i get lucky and find some good deals on ebay for this fantastic lipstick. I don’t notice that it makes my lips smoother but for the price, i hope benefits show up more. its a pleasure to use and unfortunately, my mom thinks so too and i had to pass it to her. Of course i will be stealing it back soon!

6300 Yen (US$55) for a lipstick! I think that’s an insane price for a lipstick. And guaranteed I wouldn’t have bought any of these lipsticks if I didn’t find them on ebay for about US$9/each incl. shipping 🙂
As you have to expect packaging is very glam. It comes in an oddly shaped lipstick tube made of golden material. It’s your standard swivel-up lipstick.
The texture is nice: Creamy, moisturizing, satin finish and lasts a decent time. Good pigment, too! If you expect a fabulous extraordinary lipstick for your $55 then this AQ Pure Grace lipstick is not the right investment! If you can get it for less then I’d definitely recommend it and I’d buy more of these but not for the full retail price.
Like all Cosme Decorte lipsticks Pure Grace lipstick has a faint very light fragrance that’s not overpowering or strong at all.
This lipstick comes in a wide range of colors, I think there aren’t less than 20-25 different colors
The 2 colors I got are from the Spring 2006 look
PK818: A plummy pink. I like wearing this with a taupe or charcoal smokey eye look
BR317: Natural light mauve-brown. It’s a very pretty and flattering shade.
Cosme Decorte is an expensive high-end brand under Kose corporation, AQ is the even pricier subbrand of Cosme Decorte.
I am a cool-toned PPP/NW15 with brown eyes.
