Although this is called “Lip Care” it’s somewhere between a lip balm and gloss-with-color.
The texture is creamy and soft (it’s made with organic beeswax and olive oil, among other things) and goes on nicely, leaving a teensy bit of shine. The color, a lovely claret, gives a translucent boost to my own lip color and would probably look good on a lot of people.
Downside is that it the color and lip-feel doesn’t last as long as I would like and if you don’t keep it cool it gets pretty goopy. Don’t be like me and leave your purse lying in the sun!
It’s a little pricey for a balm/gloss (around $12 online) but I like it enough that I’m on my third one.
