Totally agree with the first reviewer. This product line is way better than the previous one which was SO drying. I love the improved formula. I have the color “Luxe” and I love the color as well. I actually hope they make more in this line since it’s only ten or so currently. However, like the first reviewer noted, the applicator doesn’t have a stopper to remove some of the product so it’s wayyyy too much that comes out and you have to scrape a good amount off. It also makes it messy. I have noticed in the past that this style of container has broken on me (the original Amore lip cream) and their other ones have leakage even when stored upright. I notice some of that leakage with this as well. It’s not really product, just a clear stickiness. I haven’t noticed that with any other brand of liquid lipstick so far so I thought I’d mention. I wonder if it makes it dry out faster, and because it’s clear it seems there’s definitely some separation of this product happening. But otherwise, it’s a great formula and I’m so glad they came out with it!

I tried the Matte Lip Cream from this brand, loved the colour and wear time but hated the formula. Was way too drying and flakey. This is supposed to be less drying and more comfortable on the lips. Got this in the shade 01 Lavish which is a beautiful beige nude, not too light or too dark, doesn’t make my lips disappear or anything like that. At first i didn’t like it, because i didnt like how it applied but then after a couple times i figured out the problem.
The applicator has too much product on it because with this lipstick, less is more, I have to wipe the applicator off on the opening before applying to my lips because otherwise it will add too much product onto the lips. Very pigmented, will completely cover your lips with just a thin layer. Wears very well throughout the day even when eating or drinking, doesn’t transfer or smudge. will come off a little bit if you are eating something oily or greasy but not too badly. Are slightly drying but as long as you wear a balm underneath you wont feel the dryness and it is nowhere near as drying as the normal matte version. It is scented, smells like a tasty sour candy in my opinion, not overpowering but is noticeable. I definitely recommend giving this a try if you want a less drying matte lipstick, only sad thing is the shade range isn’t as big as the Amore Matte Lip Cream shade range is. So hopefully they will add more overtime.
