PROS
– SUPER creamy :))
– Nice semi-gloss finish
– My natural lip colour (almost as if “my lips but better”)
– Cute packaging
– Extremely daring for a company to use cardboard for their packaging but honestly, who can hate on a company that actually attempts on reducing their carbon footprint??
– LOVE the subtle minty smell
CONS
– Unfortunately, this is quite overpriced in my opinion ($24 AUD)
– The lipstick itself sounds and feels unstable when applying or throwing it into your bag because you can hear it knock against its packaging
– Does not last long at all :'( #whyyy (maybe I should try a lipliner underneath??)
Overall, I am quite satisfied with this shade and type of lipstick as it is the everyday wearable shade for me. However, I am just slightly disappointed that it does not last as long as I would like.

I can’t believe I bought this lipstick. It’s in a cardboard case for starters, looks very ordinary when applied, don’t see much plum in the color, but worst of all it has a mint taste that I detest in lipsticks. Yuck. Returning it..

Tarte Plummy Rose Lipstick is similar to my natural lipcolor (I am pale with a cool-neutral undertone) but with a bit more blue-pink to it. Applied, the color is quite sheer with no shimmer.
It feels lovely on and has a slight mint taste. Still, I am seriously underwhelmed by this lipstick! I am not a packaging junkie but the cardboard packaging (although utilitarian) isn’t worth the Tarte price tag & the pigmentation is lacking. This one isn’t for me!

This is my perfect MLBB shade! I love the container it comes in and is super moisturizing and feels great on my lips. I guess I expected the staying power to be more “wow” than it is, that’s why I gave it 4 lippies. But because it looks so natural on me I would definitely repurchase. This is the only lipstick I use.

This lipstick is almost the perfect MLBB lipstick. I say almost perfect because it runs a shade dark on me. I am about an NC20. It could be a bit lighter, then it would be perfect. But I still really like it because it is very moisturizing and has good ingredients. I also occasionally layer a gloss on top or a lighter pink lipstick to brighten it up. But, I plan to repurchase this, because I wear it daily. So, I do like it a lot. I like that it also is matte, no shimmer, and lasts a fair amount of time on the lips. I have been using this lipstick for several months now.

This lipstick is moisturizing, creamy and nearly weightless! Neither greasy nor drying, it glides onto lips with a natural (neither super-glossy nor matte) finish. Plummy Rose is a medium natural rose shade that looks great with my very fair, cool (leaning neutral) skin, although I think it would look nice on just about anyone. It does emphasize dry patches at first if you haven’t exfoliated, but it eventually softens up the dry skin. Very MLBB, but a little more expensive than I usually spend on lip products.
