Really love these lipsticks. I never use them for 24 hr. I don’t know what those claims are about but they are beautiful 😂

I really like this lipstick-or maybe lip paint is a better description, because its consistency really is rather like paint. I have used Revlon Colorstay for years, and I think they must have changed the formula, because I started noticed it coming off on my teeth annoyingly often. So….I decided I’d had enough of that, and decided to try to find a new long-wearing lip color. I bought Maybelline SuperStay 24 Hour Color because I liked the wide range of colors, and I decided to try three of them. I chose number 035, a bright red, number 245, a dusky mauve, and number 300, a slightly lighter mauve-I love the red, and the mauves are OK too-like a darker version of my own lips. I tried another color which I thought was a light pink, but it turned out to be almost a neon shade on my lips,so I got rid of it-some of the colors appear darker in the tube than they are out of it! The applicator is fairly long and flat, and set at a tilted angle which makes it easy to apply around the contours of my lips. This is very lightweight-after application, wait for a couple of minutes. If the color is as deep as you want, then apply the gloss at the other end of the tube. It is actually more of a balm than a gloss-it will give you a little shine, and will hydrate your lips nicely, which is necessary, as the color will make them feel very dry at first. If you want deeper color, let the first layer set for a minute, then reapply, wait a minute, then add gloss. I’ve never felt the need to do this-the color is pretty saturated, and one coat really is plenty. Staying power is pretty good-it does come off a little on the inner area of my lips when I eat, but it doesn’t flake or come off on my teeth like Revlon’s version, so I really don’t mind reapplying. Cost is around ten dollars, so no complaints there. This product can be found at grocery stores, drugstores, etc., and is not hard to find. I am looking forward to trying new colors!

This lipstick’s name DOES NOT LIE. This is my HG all-day product.
It’s lasted through nights out, parties, and whole 8+ hr wedding days with zero touch-ups. I have eaten chicken drumsticks without budging it, and it’s never left a lipstick mark on a glass. If you put it on right, it will last until you take makeup remover to it. (This includes if you forget your makeup remover and try to scrub it off with a washcloth–there was still color the next morning!)
It goes on smoothly and has a light fruity scent when you open it. I’ve only used the more natural shades, but their color is strong and consistent. It’s a stellar value at around $10.
Some cautions:
-Read the directions and other people’s tips to put it on well. (IE pat your lips dry and put on one thin coat.) When it’s put on poorly, it comes off like the peeling skin of a sunburn–very unpleasant and gross-looking.
-Obviously, it’s very unforgiving of errors, so take your time as you put it on. They make a SuperStay Color Eraser, but I haven’t tried it yet.
-Like all lipsticks, sometimes the color on the sticker / in the tube doesn’t quite match what it looks like on your face. Maybelline has good swatches on different skin tones online.
-This is NOT GOOD if your lips are cracked or chapped. It will sting and it will peel and just make the chapping look worse.

Peels off in tiny balls. Don’t waste your money.

Used this for a New Year’s party and it stayed the entire night, through dinner and countless drinks! I am very impressed. Bought the shade Timeless Rose. I applied to very clean, dry lips and allowed the colour to dry completely before adding the topcoat (about 2-3 minutes). I did reapply the topcoat a few times throughout the night but it wasn’t an issue. Great long lasting lipcolour for special events, I’m a lipgloss girl usually and can’t be bothered with a ton of colour since it ends up wearing off and/or on my teeth. This is the perfect product for me for events where I want a bolder lip all night. Would repurchase.

This lipstick definitely stays put until I use the makeup remover. I found it dry on my lips and I apply lip balm over the colour. The colour doesn’t budge even after eating and drinking so great for wearing in situations where you can’t reapply your lipstick. Only downside is that there is not a huge range of colour choices where I found some colours were either too metallic or too dark for my skin tone. Otherwise, this is a great all day lipstick for a great price.

The lipstick when applied as per instructions does not last even an hour, feels terrible on lips too & the price is too high especially the small amount if product.

Has anyone notice that the print is so tiny that you can’t see what color it is?
It’s a problem when you have several.

Full disclosure here and probably an unusual reason to provide a review … I’m a lip gloss junkie and almost never wear lipstick as I find almost all of them too drying. Once or twice per year for three or four consecutive days I find I need a full coverage lipstick that absolutely will not budge in order to conceal bruises from lip injections. This stuff definitely does the trick! I find even the lighter end of the color spectrum in this brand will provide full coverage. The key is to start with clean dry lips and apply two or three coats and let it dry completely between coats. Sometimes I need to put an extra coat just on the bruise itself. I reapply the balm frequently as I like my lips to feel moist. I use Lancôme Bifacil to remove. I’ve read great reviews on the Revlon version and may try that as well.

I thought the maybelline superstay matte ink was the best lipstick I ever tried. Then I tried this! This lasts even longer and it feels even better. Really blown away. I have timeless rose and wear on wildberry, both are just perfect.
