This is an OK product . I cannot say anything terrible about it, but it is not outstanding.
I guess for the price I paid I shouldn’t complain. The color is not bad.

I bought this color last year and for some reason didn’t use it much. I felt it was kinda blah, but I rediscovered it this summer (2014) in my makeup bin and pulled it out. I love it. It is such a cute, sweet coral pink. It would have been wonderful for the spring. Instead I will be rocking this summer, as orange is one of my favorite colors to wear when it gets warm.
The wear on this is pretty decent. It stays on the lips for about two hours and then it needs to be reapplied. There always seems to be a bit of a “stain” left behind, but a lot of the moisturzing gloss disapears after that two hour mark. This doesn’t stand up the drinking or eating. So it won’t do for someone that wants a long-lasting product, unless you are willing to apply. I find that I dont get good wear time out of any lipsticks or glosses because I’m constantly drinking something.
There is no tackiness and the gloss is pigmented enough to cover up my pigmented lips and not give me the dreaded “orange ring” around my mouth. I appreciate that because this is a rather light lip color and I often can’t pull them off.
For those that are deeply entrenched in the lipstick or lipgloss club….this product seems to be a nice marriage between them. I’m personally more of a lipstick person because it lasts longer on me and doesn’t tend to be sticky. So this product gets my approval in that regard.
You do have to be careful with the doe foot applicator because it has a reservoir in it that can cause a little too much to be deposited on the lips, which can migrate to the teeth sometimes. I haven’t noticed much of an issue with this color, but have with some of the darker colors in the collection.
Overall I like this color and am glad I found it. I just can’t understand why I didn’t love it last year. Hmmmm?

This product though. THE TASTE. IT’S HORRIBLE.
I’m not kidding. I swiped this on my lips, and besides the color Luna looking straight up orange on me, I could feel the perfume-like, artificial smell in the back of my throat. Now, maybe I’m very sensitive, but I simply can’t stand it. The packaging is gorgeous, the British name is awesome (I don’t know why they changed it for us Americans – I’m vaguely offended), and the shade selection is nice. The color pay off is nice, and it sits on my lips well. BUT GOD THAT SMELL. I’ve noticed many of these lip lacquer/liquid lipstick products have similar smells. and I can’t understand why. This smell translates as a horrible taste that actually makes my throat feel dry. Maybe that’s an allergy? Either way, I’ve read many reviews that claimed the same aversion to varying degrees, so I might just be an extreme case. That being said, I simply can not recommend these. At all.

Nice color but HORRIBLE FORMULA! So hard to apply, STINKS really bad and looks even worst. This is the worst lip gloss I ever had. It’s going back to the store.

Why, oh why do I continue to buy Rimmel lip products when I know darn well that I don’t like them? The world may never know. Anyway, this isn’t worth your money. There are better stains and glosses in this price point. The only nice thing I can say about it is that once the initial application wears off, it does leave a pleasant, peachy stain. However, before that, you get a gloopy, oddly grainy mess on your lips that highlights every patch or line. Rimmel lipsticks in general feel like they separate or something on my lips. Ick. This product has a very strong smell–like Now and Laters candy. I don’t mind it, which is good because it lingers.

Luna is a beautiful peach color that I found irresistible. Peach lippies are not always the easiest to find at budget-friendly prices, not so great staying power despite being pigmented
