This is very different than the Elizabeth Arden Advanced Lip Fix Cream. I would say this one is more of a true lip primer, it’s in a twist up bullet style package, the product is thicker/stiffer, and leaves a pale waxy finish on the lips which I assume is to cancel out your own natural lip color and therefore give your lipstick a more true reflection of it’s shade than blending over your lip color. Lip liner and lipstick apply easily overtop, my lips did have a very matte finish though, but didn’t feel matte because the primer is waxy and provides a barrier on the lips. I prefer EA Lip Fix Cream more than the NbN Lip Primer but that’s not to say this isn’t a good product. The one thing I really like about it is that your lipstick will have better staying power with it, at least that has been my experience. I don’t think I would repurchase but only because I’m more of a balm/gloss wearer and don’t have a need for this.
