Very nice day to day wear tinted balm. I have 3, and reach for the them often

I bought the entire set of 10 shades on ebay for about $20, which I thought was a great value. I love the design of an apple in the center of the balm as a contrasting shade, so cute! The formula is comfy and moisturizing and the scent and taste are apple-tastic! The majority of the shades are sheer plums and pinks and quite flattering. Although not deeply-pigmented or long-lasting, I don’t mind reapplying that sugary apple goodness!

I like this lip balm. The apple fragrance is synthetic but it smells nice. It doesn’t last long, but I like the shimmer. It’s like a dollar.

The packaging is cute and they smell great but other than that these balms suck. I have it in “Pink Lady” and it dries out my lips and offers little to no color. Doesn’t last on your lips for long at all and overall just has a crappy formula.

These are the best cost effective lip balms. The color is sheer, which is great for the everyday office look. They are super easy to apply and smell amazing!

I love these. Very cute packaging and moisturizing with just the right amount of color

I bought this in 354 Apple Blossom. The shade is supper light sheer pink-almost clear on my skin when I swatched it. When I applied it to my lips it just blended in. I did not find it to be very moisturizing when on either. I have used it recently because I could not find my regular chap stick/lip balm, but other than that I hardly ever use it. It smells nice like apple candy and the scent is quite strong. I would not rebuy it because it is too sheer and not moisturizing enough. There are better lip products by NYC by far.

I have Pink Lady. The pigmentation is decent, and it’s more moisturizing than I was expecting. It goes on smoothly, but the color isn’t as even as I would like. The scent is a little too sweet. It smells like watermellon-flavored candy. My big complaint is the packaging, which never closes as tight as I would like.

I got the lip balm in the shade ‘Apple Blueberry Pie’ from my friend. She said that she paid about $6 for it- which I think is a lot for just a lip balm. Although I don’t like the color of the ‘Apple Blueberry Pie,’ (it’s a glossy purple color) the pigmentation of it is really strong. The more you layer the gloss/balm on your lips, the stronger the color. I’m usually satisfied with the first layer, though. The color does fade throughout the day but you can just re-apply it (after all, it IS a lip gloss balm). The lip gloss/balm is SO not moisturizing but my lips do feel a bit softer after I apply them. The best thing about this gloss/balm is the packaging. The packaging is convenient and the cap is secure (unlike other lip balms). I love the cute apple shape in the middle of the lip gloss/balm- it’s so cute! Other than that, there’s not much compliments I can give about this balm. I would not re-purchase this and I would not recommend it to anyone. Overall, this is a decent lip gloss, not a lip balm.

I bought these after reading a rave review on a beauty bloggers site about them and as they were only 2.49GBP each I thought they’d be worth a try. I got the shades Big Apple Red, Caramel Apple and Applelicious Pink as I wanted to get three shades which seemed to be very different in colour. Big Apple Red is… well, a red shade; Caramel Apple is a peach/nude shade and Applelicious Pink is a magenta pink shade.
All of the shades apply nicely, leaving a hint of colour on the first application and building to a deeper shade the more layers you apply. The website claims they contain a ‘trio of shea butter, jojoba and avocado oil’ but in all honesty I didn’t find any of them particularly moisturising. The colour also doesn’t last very long when you only apply a couple of layers, although I’m guessing it shouldn’t really matter when you consider these are advertised as being glossy lip balms (the idea being that you reapply them throughout the day).
My main issue with these and the reason I wouldn’t get them again, is the weakness of the colours. The red of Big Apple Red was too orange for me, whilst Caramel Apple barely showed on my lips and Applelicious Pink was waaaay too pink for my liking. There are other shades in the line, but given my experiences with these three I don’t think I would be tempted to get any of them. Since I got them about 5 months ago I’ve only used them a handful of times, preferring to reach for my Clinique Chubby Sticks instead. I’m glad they didn’t cost a lot though, as I would have felt guilty for not using them more!
