I like some Pacifica products, but not this one. It was drying and waxy, and appeared clay-like on my lips. Pass.

I got this in Nude. I like it. Along with the SPF 30 protection, it makes a nice base/primer for under lipcolor. Possibly has iron oxides in it as well, which adds extra protection from the sun. Does it keep lipcolor from wearing off? No. But it’s a decent lip balm, moisturizing and protective. I would buy it again.

This review is for the Sun + Lip Care SPF 30 Mineral Color SPF Lip Balm in the color peach. To be honest the waxiness was a little off putting and reapplication was difficult because of how patchy and drying the formulation was.

This is for the Sun + Lip Care SPF 30 Mineral Color SPF Lip Balm in the color nude. I didn’t realize I missed part of the product name until I went back to find a product picture to add.
I got this to bring up my $ spent on an order to get free shipping and wanted a lip balm with sunscreen so I have plenty of time to test it out to see if it’s going to work waaay before I need it. It says it’s water resistant for 80 minutes too, and I really do need something that I can take to the pool, I always forget about my lips! I got the color nude in hopes that it looked neutral,
Well the formula, although waxy, feels great and I’m suprized how good the color looks considering the sunscreen in it is physical (both titanium and zinc)(damm!t you left off the important stuff in the ingredient listing again Ulta!) I will soon hunt down the peach tint as well. The waxy feel is “stiff” but I like this and hope it softens up a bit like waxy balms do, this would make it even better. Thankfully I am over a really bad episide of chapped lips (which I am 99% confident is from my toothpaste) because I think this would probably enhance chappiness because of the mineral sunscreen.
