Love the product. Goes on smoothly, creates a nice matte finish. Hate the color I bought (#673). It’s too bright of a pink for me, but I definitely will be looking into other colors. You could probably mix it with a little moisturized to get a nice colored blush though. Anyhow, I love everything about the new and improved Wet n’ Wild and I will certainly be looking out for better colors.

To me, these feel like UD Pleather pencils. And I have the same problem with the WnW ones as I did with the Pleathers – I can’t find a shade that is decent. I tried Amaretto Spice, thinking it would be a nice fall color, but it is a pretty garish red on me. I exchanged it for the brownish shade, and that was a mistake – very cool and metallic when on the lips, giving me that corpse-like appearance I try to avoid. I thought it might be a nice nude. I’ll keep my eye on these if any other shades become available (the others I saw looked too “crayon-y” to me).

Another pleasant surprise from the new, improved W ‘n’ W. Contrary to the package description, this is not a glossy pencil at all; it goes on as an opaque, matte lipstick. I actually find it a little drying, hence 1 lippie off. Also, the range of shades is limited and there is no ylbb. But, the design is very nice because you can really control the color and don’t need a separate liner. You do need a sharpener from time ti time, though. I have this in Plum Pudding, a beautiful opalescent medium violet-rose.
