I have the Quo Lip oil in Set Sail. There were two colours, one was pink called 40 Knots. It doesn’t matter since they both go on clear! It wears for about 2-3 hours before you need to reapply.
Pros:
-nice and shiny on lips
-no colour
-from what I tested it plays nicely with other lip products if you want to wear it on top. It probably doesn’t work well with everything, because it is oil based.
Cons:
-this tube is super easy to lose. It’s small and hard to notice in a purse, etc.
-Once it wears off your lips are not like noticeably better. You have to wear it to enjoy it

I would’ve def repurchase if I will be able to find it… If you have always chapped dry lips you will love it!
Pros: cheap; very hydrating; doesn’t have bad smell or taste; not sticky; doesn’t bleed; looks very glossy in a nice way; lips feel soft even after it’s faded
So-so: doesn’t look good if layered on top of the another product; doesn’t last long but it’s ok with me

Holy Grail! I was surprised that I liked the Lip Oil so much, I thought a lip oil would be a greasy product.
No, not at all!
It is a very moisturizing product, like a liquid gloss, and miracles of miracles, gives comforting, and lasting hydration for about 4-5 hours (even in very dry cold weather). No re-application needed. The colour is a lovely subtle warm red, with a gorgeous coral tint, with light to medium coverage. There is little or no glimmer, so it is entirely suitable for a professional environment. It definitely would look good with warm colors such as corals, yellows, oranges and browns, but is neutral enough to go with a lot of other colors.
It appears to give about the same amount and duration of hydration as the Chantecaille lip glosses I have reviewed on MUA.
It comes, like all Tatcha products, beautifully packaged. It is a very attractive black hexagonal tube (won’t roll off any surface) and the doefoot applicator picks up just the right amount of oil. I like it better than the Clarins lip oil because it lasts longer and has a bit more pigment, so I will be repurchasing the Tatcha lip oil instead.
PS I personally wouldn’t bother with the Tatcha gold lip gloss, in my experience it only lasts for a short period of time.
